Produced by the Wickford Art Association since 1962, the Wickford Art Festival is one of New England’s oldest outdoor fine art festivals and ranked #7 fine art festival in the USA! More than 200 artists from across the country and globe exhibit their original art on the streets of our seaside village. Our artists have brought their best work for you: take home a piece of unique, one of a kind art plus Rhode Island doesn’t collect sales tax on fine art. A list of exhibiting artists and this program are also available on our website www.wickfordart.orgProceeds from the Wickford Art Festival support WAA’s art programs, gallery exhibits and community events as well as our Scholarship Program awarded annually to artistic public high school seniors attending college. The Scholarship winners are exhibiting their work at the festival and we encourage you to visit these talented students, located next to the Raffle of Fine Art booth in Updike Park. The “Raffle of Fine Art” funds next year’s Scholarship Program: purchase raffle tickets and take a chance on winning a piece of over $10,000 of original art. The drawing is held on Sunday afternoon at 4 pm and you don’t have to be present to win! We are thrilled to welcome back NewportBank as a Platinum sponsor!
