1. ELOCUTION…… EXPRESS YOURSELF ALOUD!

4) Problem of Trade Deficit
Rules: 1) Participants must speak on any one of the given topics.
2) Maximum time limit is 3 minutes. Maximum participants are 2 per college.
2. DEBATE……..BE FIRM AND HAVE AN OPINION!
1) Do we need a more investor friendly foreign investment policy?
2) Business ethics are passing fad today?
3) Smart Cities: Good or Bad for future?
4) Social networking: Useful or waste of time
Rules: 1) Participants must speak on any one of the given topics.
2) One would speak for the topic and other against it. 4 minutes are given per team.
3) There should be two members per team. Maximum teams are 2 per college.
3. PPT PRESENTATION…….DESIGN YOUR VIEWPOINT!
1) Water Scarcity: A reality
2) Poor Educational Standards in India
3) Sliding value of Rupee
4) Problems faced by Indian Start-ups
Rules: 1) Participants must choose any one of the given topics.
2) Maximum 2 participants per team. Maximum one team per college.
3) Maximum time limit for the presentation is 5 minutes.
4) Each member must compulsorily contribute during the presentation.
4. QUIZ…….WRECK YOUR BRAINS!
Rules: 1) There will not be any elimination round. Final decision after all the rounds at once.
2) Participants per team are 3. Maximum 1 team per college.
5. POSTER MAKING……PICTURIZE YOUR THOUGHTS
1) Deforestation
2) E-Waste
3) Impact of plastic on environment
Rules: 1) Participants can depict the poster of maximum 1 out of the given topics.
2) Maximum participants are 2 per college.
3) Posters to be created on a standard size chart paper only.
4) Creativity is left up to the participants.
[Winners will be informed personally over phone and are thus supposed to be present for the
valedictory function.]
6. ESSAY WRITING…….PEN IS MIGHTIER THAN THE SWORD!
1) Indian Beggars: Their problems and solutions
2) Agriculture is the backbone of Indian Economy
3) Impact of population on Indian Economy
Rules: 1) Participants must choose any one of the given topics.
2) Maximum one participant per college
3) Maximum word limit is 2000 words
Please note that there cannot be more number of participants or teams from
your college than the spaces allotted for each competition. The age limit of every
participant is between 18-22 years. Please avoid cancellations in the form. All the
competitions will be conducted only in English.
Entries will be accepted either by courier or through a student representative on or
before 2nd
August, 2018 between 7am & 1 pm in our college premises
Replacements, if any must be informed over phone on or before 6th
August, 2018. On
the spot replacements will not be accepted.
