We do it or go see because it entertains us and its a good way of spending free time or socialising with your friends. It also effects our emotions, for example a comedy can make us laugh and a tragedy makes us cry. In addition to this it has a cultural meaning. It defines ones culture from the other and makes it unique it shows peoples differences. Even when an artist is dead for a long time it can still represent him because it important that we achieve something in our lives so our spirit can live on for hundreds of years.
