Driving directions from Tocumen International Airport Tocumen International Airport is located east of Panama City and the Canopy Lodge is located in the picturesque foothills of western Panama. Your journey from the airport will take approximately 3 hours to arrive at the Canopy Lodge, located on the outskirts of the town of El Valle de Anton. When you exit the airport, head west toward Panama City. We recommend taking one of the express toll-routes through Panama City. Here you will find the directions using the Corredor Sur (South Corridor) that passes along the Pacific Coast through Panama City. This toll-route is card-controlled, and cards may be purchased from the rental car company or at the entrance to the toll highway. Soon after leaving the terminal, watch for the exit to the Corredor Sur, and exit to your right. There will be two toll stops, totaling approximately $3 (be sure to have this loaded on your card). You will exit the Corredor Sur at its end, on Avenida Balboa. As Avenida Balboa ends, take the ramp on the left to Viaducto 3 de Noviembre then keep left at the fork and merge onto Avenida de los Martires. From here, follow signs to Puente de las Americas (Bridge of the Americas). When you cross the bridge, continue west for approximately 1 hour 30 minutes on the Pan-American Highway. Approximately 20 minutes after the town of Coronado (where there are many restaurants and stores, also a good place to stop for a bathroom break before the turn off to El Valle), you will take a right turn off the Pan-American Highway. There is a small sign on your right indicating El Valle, a pedestrian overpass and a bus stop. Turn right at the red archway into the town of Las Uvas. Continue on this road for 24 km. You will head up the winding road for approximately 30 minutes, and then down into the Anton Valley, arriving in town. Youre almost here!

When you arrive in El Valle You will pass through the main road of the town, passing by the famous El Valle Market, restaurants and attractions. Continue on this road as it curves through the town, and eventually you will make your way out of town. You will cross a little bridge and see a wooden fence line on your left. Turn left at the end of the wooden fence into the open-gated entrance to the Canopy Lodge. Welcome to the Canopy Lodge! If you miss the entrance you will see the Canopy Adventure on your left; the staff at the Canopy Adventure will happily direct you back to the Canopy Lodge.
