Around the World in 7 Treasures

Approximately in III century BC the classical list from seven miracles of the world was generated:

Pyramid of Cheops (Giza, 2550 BC)

Hanging Gardens of Semiramidа (Babylon, 600 BC)

Statue of Zeus in Olympia (Olympia, 435 BC)

Temple of Artemis at Ephesus (Ephesus, 550 BC. AD )

The Mausoleum of Halicarnassus (Halicarnassus,351BC.E.)

Colossus of Rhodes (Rodos, between 292 and 280 years. BC. E.) Lighthouse of Alexandria (Alexandria, III century BC. E.)

Modern seven wonders of the world

In 2001 the project started the nonprofit organization New Open World Corporation, which was designed to identify the seven wonders of the modern world. At the same

time it was decided to define separate architectural and natural wonders

In 2005, the channel "BB-C" started to air a series of documentaries under the title "80 Wonders of the World" (English Around the World in 80 Treasures). Among the selected works of art and architecture were, including the Nazca Lines in Peru, Moai stone statues on Easter Island, the Statue of Liberty in the U.S., the world's largest Buddhist complex of Borobudur in Indonesia, the imperial Forbidden City and the Terracotta Army in China, Meenakshi Temple in India, the Iranian Persepolis, Libya Leptis Magna, the Greek Parthenon,

the Solovki Islands in Russia and other wonders.
