As Arizona Forward embraced its new role as a statewide organization in 2013, the goal was to remain rooted in our 44-year legacy role of bridging economic growth and environmental quality.

With a transition plan in hand, we were poised for an expanded sphere of influence in Arizona’s northern and southern regions. We made significant strides:

SometimeS you have to look backwardS to See how far you’ve come forward.

We are well on track to Move Arizona Forward!

Sincerely,

Steve Krum2013 Chair of the Board, Arizona ForwardDirector of Communications, First Solar

Expanding our geographic boundary beyond the Valley to include Pima, Pinal and Coconino Counties in addition to Maricopa, as well as all three public universities – University of Arizona, Northern Arizona University plus Arizona State University. Arizona Forward brings leaders from across the state together to encourage cooperative efforts to improve the environmental sustainability and economic vitality of the place we call home. Our collective influence will make a difference to ensure healthy communities through smart growth and development, efficient transportation, improved air quality, responsible water management, energy alternatives and meaningful education throughout Arizona. Although we convene thoughtful dialogue on sustainability, we operate more like a “do tank” than a “think tank.”
