1/ The volume of words is indicative of which respondent had the dominant presence in the debate.

2/ Grade level is indicative of both the respondents perception of the audience and the respondents background and willingness to speak to the audience to be understood. The Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level score is a number that corresponds with a grade level. For example, a score of 8.2 would indicate that the text is expected to be understandable by an average student in 8th grade (usually around ages 12–14 in the United States).

7/ Character Issues are indicative of the respondents focus on respondents personality and disposition. For example, if they express "can do" statements this goes to a focus on Ability to Deliver. If they express "commited to" or "dedicated to" this goes to Commitment. If they express "improve" or "get better" this goes to a focus on Improvement. If they site numbers and facts then this goes to Precise. Each Character Issue reflects a distinct focus on a specific personality or disposition value.
