A storm came up. High waves began to break into the
boat until it was nearly full of water and about to sink.
Jesus was asleep at the back of the boat. Frantically
His disciples wakened Him shouting; ‘Teacher, don’t you care
if we drown?’ Jesus got up, rebuked the wind and said to the
waves, ‘Quiet! Be still!’ Then the wind died down and it was
completely calm (Mark 4:37-39).
Divine Power in the Storm is;
The disciples were seasoned fishermen who had spent theirlives fishing on this huge lake, the Sea of Galilee, but in thestorm they panicked. The disciples panicked because the storm threatened to destroy them all, and Jesus seemed unaware and unconcerned. The situation caused them great anxiety.
Whatever your storm you can pray, proclaim God’s word andtrust God for peace. Jesus is in the boat. He has not gone onHoliday.
Call on the Name of Jesus and you will see His Power.
