Ares Led LabWith the project AresLed Ares introduces the first range of luminaires equipped with high efficiency LED technology. Step by step the company starts with the first dedicated assembly line where a trained staff of operators cooperates with an enlarged technical department with engineers and designers whose expertise leads to the conception of the best lighting solution for our luminaires. The constant and rapid evolution of the LED technology together with the increasing interest of the market let the company opt for the insourcing of the whole production process. The primary goals are to gain full control over the phases going from the design to the installation of the LED module inside the luminaire and to offer our customers a quality, flexible and reliable product. Ares LED department now includes three divisions: one SMT production line, one assembly line for the welding and resin coating and a final line for the assembly of the luminaire.

The insourcing of the SMT production line brought important results in the quality of the final product. The creation of a dedicated department with automatic and semiautomatic machinery allow full control over the production process and guarantees traceability and reliability of the product.

AresLed assembly line is also in charge of the quality and functional check on the products.Our LED modules are 100% tested before entering the assembly section for the cable welding and the fixing of the optics. The use of specific gluing and adhesive substances grants an optimal light emission.The same attention goes on the installation of the LED module into the luminaire where the choice of the best thermal paste helps maximising its performance. Where needed the electrical components are coated with polyurethane resin assuring a high IP degree of protection.Another 100% functional test is carried out at the end of the production line before the packing and sale of the final product.

All aluminium elements are coated with polyester powder after chromium-phosphate conversion coating pre-treatment. Installation: Tapioca is equipped with a highly efficient resin-coated converter PWM (Pulse Wide Modulation) that guarantees the right power supply to the LED module, removes electromagnetic interference and allows parallel wiring. Tapioca is protected against polarity reversal (the luminaire does not switch on) and it is equipped with a piece of cable for an easy-to-make connection (please provide effective insulation on the connection). The luminaire is equipped with fixing springs to be locked up to a dedicated box for installation (to be ordered separately). For ground installation it is important to provide a proper gravel layer or drain system (>200mm) to ensure good drainage and to avoid water stagnation.Warning! Use IP68 connectors to avoid water ingress from the cable.
