VacanciesAt AIXTRON Inc we are looking for experienced Field Service and Field Process Engineers to to join our global support organization and work with our customers on state of the art (Metal Organic) Chemical Vapor Deposition (MO)CVD equipment. The wide range of tasks in the customer support organization include the installation and qual-ification of the latest system generations, customer demonstrations as well as the development of epitaxy processes for the various fields of application of compound semiconductors. We also work closely together with customers and universities in the context of joint development projects (JDP) to qualify our latest (MO)CVD systems. We need your expertise in the following functions› Field Service Engineer (f/m/d)› Field Process Engineer (f/m/d)
In your role as “field process engineer (f/m/d)”, you will use your experience in the field of (MO)CVD processes of compound semiconductor materials to support various customers, particularly industrial customers, that use, develop and introduce (MO)CVD technology in production. You will ensure smooth implementation with regard to the certification and process development of material deposition in a complex (MO)CVD reactor. There will be a special focus here on production behaviour and the optimisation of very demanding machines, technologies and their processes. The adaptation of systems to satisfy customer requests in close coordination with the highly innovative fields of our laboratory and engineering development team will represent an important aspect of your tasks.
In the role of “field service engineer (f/m/d)”, you are responsible for the installation of our (MO)CVD semiconductor equipment from pre-installation activities to technical acceptance by customer. You will also serve as a liaison between customer and all components of the company throughout the process. After technical acceptance of the semiconductor equipment by the customer, the Field Service Engineer also offers support in the maintenance, repair, and upgrade of the equipment. Finally, the position is responsible for maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction while representing the interests of the company.
