TOMBOLO GENESIS
The aim of the project is to create a journey through a series of interventions in the seascape. For this reason the project has been developed according to the seven days of creation written in the Bible. Each day is represented by a different structure which makes a poetic reference to the elements that have constructed our world: the light, the water, the land, the stars, the animals and the garden of Eden.
The project is developed in the sea as a series of float-ing structures between the island of Espalmador and Formentera.
Before the Explosion After the Explosion
Concept development of floating structures Collage of dispersed spaces in the seascape Site analysis
Each circle represents each day of creation. The visitor passes from one day to the next, taking a journey in the sea which leads him to the deserted island Espalmador (Day 7).
The journey of the visitor is created by main walkways inside the sea leading to the six days (installa-tions).
The proposal is protected from strong waves and winds through the placement of breakwaters surrounding the site.
The proposal incorporates a series of pools within the sea which vary according to their use, size and atmosphere.
Analysis of masterplan concepts.

Day 5 “Fish & Birds”_ Section through a break-water shaft for underwa-ter coral reef growth.
Detail 1_ Steel structure of proposal carries water and releases it into various pools.
Detail_ Concrete wall connection to system of hanging hammocks.
Detail 3_ Concrete breakwater is penetrated by steel shaft which holds the wires.
Day 4 “Stars & Moon”_ Section through the Sky Observatory.
Detail 2_ Steel structure of breakwater shaft.
Day 2 “Water”_ The Structure that Leaks.
Breakwaters within the sea are placed to manipulate water waves, ripples and sand sediment build-up. These are also available for sitting.
Underwater architecture. The proposal focuses on providing potential for diving and exploring the underwater world and the coral reef growth.

Day 2 “Water”. Main walls inside the sea provide support for the steel water pipes. Day 6 “The Garden of Contemplation”. View of the hammocks and the mangrove growth inside the sea.
ATHENS PUBLIC STUDIO The project incorporates the placement of archi-tecture studios into public squares in Athens.
The aim of the project is to critique the current studio working spaces, to provide maximum opportunities for interaction between students and the public, and to constructing eventful spaces.
The form of the proposal was ispired by the facade patterns of surounding buildings.
Reuse of materials and window frames became an important feature.
The chosen site is located in the
‘Athenian Triangle’ between the
National University of Athens and
the Architecture department.
The proposal extends from the facades.
PERFORMING ARTS CENTERCONCEPT MODELLING Exploring form through modelling. The models presented were used as concept models for vari-ous projects during my study years. They explore issues of materiality, form, light and movement.
The project is located in front of Waterloo station in London and incorporates dance, drama and music studios as well as spaces for public use and various art events.

URBAN STORYBOARDS The project explores the urban configurations of the area Waterloo in London through storytelling. The maps focus on personal observations of the architecture of urban cities.
