Each aquaponics facility has fourteen (14) flow-through tank chains. The system could produce a harvest every fifteen days.
Intensive tilapia farming can yield 103 kg of fish per cubic metre of water per year. Each tank chain holds 261 m3 of water, for a total of 3654 m3 of water.
Each aquaponics facility could produce 376 362 kg of fish per year.
Each sector of the site has three aquaponics facilities. Each sector could produce 1 129 086 kg of fish per year.
The entire site has eight sectors. The site could produce 9 032 688 kg of fish per year.
36 300 000 kg of fish are consumed in the GTA each year.
FISH CITY COULD PRODUCE 24.88%OF THE FISH THAT THE GTA EATS.

OISTAT THEATRE COMPETITION
THE OISTAT THEATRE COMPETITIONwas a provocation to re-imagine a theatrein St. Anna’s church, a landmark gothiccathedral in Prague. The space wasconceived as more than a container forperformance, but an experience where thearchitecture could be integral in theconception of the theatrical experience.

The notion of history as a palimpsest is reconsidered as an infinte series of veils in which the past is not written over but still resonates as layers of our collective experience. The walls of St. Anna’s narrates its history-peeling layers of surface decoration and the accretion of structural inerventions bolster its hallowed atmosphere. The veil of thesculptural armatures extends into the courtyards and alleys like a growing organic mass. This enlargement of the performance field recalls the urban medieval tradition ofprocessional street performances but the origin and destination have been resversed-the procession begins at the altar and radiates outwards into the city.
The Veiling Nebula will be a visceral and surrealistic multimedia experience-movement, music, voice and moving imagery provide a fertile field for experimentation and innovation.
Opening the performance space into the courtyard allows flexibility in performanceconfiguration. An aperture of sliding ellipsoid panels enables the space to be entirelyinterior, exterior or both. A centrally located stage, surrounded by seating on three sidesfosters a greater intimacy and connection between the performers and the audience.
