Using the most advanced barrier technology, our 3M™ Self-Adhered Air and Vapour Barrier Membrane 3015

provides an innovative moisture, air and vapour barrier in one top-performing solution. It helps prevent air

leakage, protects air quality and guards against moisture ingress.

No need for primers. This innovative barrier membrane is easy to apply – without the need for high VOC solvent

based primer thus reducing labour costs. It’s self-sealing when penetrated, reducing costly repairs. A split-liner

design helps ensure quick application. The advanced acrylic adhesive virtually eliminates fish-mouthing and can

be applied from -18 °C to 66 °C . It is non-staining, compatible with most construction sealants and can be left

exposed to ultraviolet light for up to 180 days. It’s the ultimate building envelope solution.

2012 Guinness World Record for Heaviest Weight Lifted with Glue

3M Scotch-Weld Instant Adhesives was recently responsible for a Guinness World

Record-setting feat, lifting an 8.1 metric ton (17,857 pound, 2990 PSI) forklift in the

air for one hour. This amazingly successful demonstration set a new world record

for the heaviest weight lifted with glue. The vehicle was suspended from a crane

by a steel cylinder only 7 cm in diameter, with the two parts of the cylinder secured
