The only limitation was the area provided, which was 30mX30m.I wanted a calm and peaceful retreat, that is why I chose a site close to the beach. So, I chose Blue Bay Beach, Mauritius.

Dance SchoolLocation : Mysore, karnataka

The objective was to design a Disco dance school.Disco is usually colouful and vibrant. During the day, light enters the building through the slits of the roof. One is surrounded by other people dancing in a disc. A person who enters the building can view all the classrooms from the centre of the site. The dance form includes a lot of movement around the dance floor. Hence it is dynamic. This is done by staggering all the blocks. Also, people dance with the flow of the music as the music keeps changing. Thus, it can be said that there is also fluidity.

The housing complex includes 1 BHK, 2 BHK and 3 BHK houses with and without the workspaces. The houses withouht the workspace have a common workspace outside the house. It also includes a shrine, shops and civic ammenities. The main intent was to club all the three different houses to form clusters which would enhance interaction between different groups of people eaiser.
