IN HOT AND DRY CLIMATE OF TEHRAN, FORM OF NIAVARAN LIBRARY IS INSPIRED BY IRANIAN ANCIENTWIND-CATCHERS. NORTHERN PART OF THE BUILDING RECEIVES NORTH- SOUTHWIND OFTEHRANWHICH COULD BE USED IN PASSIVE AIR CONDITIONING. ALL ARCHITECTURAL DIMENSIONS AND STRUCTURAL GRID SPECIFIEDWITHREGARDTOTHEBASEMODULE. VOLUME VARIETY OF ANCILLARY BUILDINGS,VARIOUS FUNCTIONS AND AREAS IN COMBINATION WITH CLIMATIC CONDITION OF SITE MADE VARIOUS TYPESOFPITCHEDROOFS.ALLAROUNDOF EACHBUILDINGISCOVERED WITH EXTENSION OF ROOF TO PROTECT PEDESTRIANS AND BUILDING FROMRAINANDSUNRADIATION.
