Fall 2013-Urban Design- Revit, Illustrator, PhotoshopDue to the high demands for more residential Apartments in Dumbo, Brooklyn, the goal was to design a tower with high class amenities for the residents and for the community surrounded by local artists and college students. At the same time the high rise needed to celebrate the Brooklyn Bridge and attract tourists to support the local events.

Based on the building facade and research, I was able to draw the details for lintel head replacement, brick masonry replacement, spall repair, repointing mortar joints.

Red Hook Entertainment Center + HotelSummer 2013- Design VI- Revit, PhotoshopIn this design project, there was a two step process in the first we were told to design an entertainment center on an existing row of warehouses. We could only built above 12-7 due to the sites proximity to the river. In the second part of the project, we were told to build a boutique hotel on top of the entertainment center.

Shehu.Kliton Residential Brownstone RenovationFall 2011- Drawing III- AutoCadIn this project we were presented with a brownstone building, which needed renovations. The first major renovation was to provide an ADA accessible ground floor plan, with ADA bath-room, kitchen, closet. The interior partition walls had to be de-molished and updated to comply with the fire rated NYC code regulations.

Shehu.Kliton Elite Health ClubFall 2011- Design IV- Revit, Illustrator, Lumion ren-deringIn this project, we had to design a health club with the follow-ing amenities yoga studio, strength & cardio room, swimming pool, offices, steam room, spa, juice bar/cafe. The inspiration for my project was Le Corbusiers Villa Savoye and his five points of architecture. My first objective was to do a light and shadow study to determine the best location for the swimming pool, outdoor tanning. The second thing I was conscious about was the historic church next to our site. I did not want the church to be overtaken by my building which is why I set back the main entrance of the health in plan and in vertical height.
