FOR JOB SITE SAFETY REQUIREMENTS AND PRECAUTIONS.
CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE TO PROVIDE CONTINUOUS PUBLIC,
STATE, FEDERAL AND AIRLINES INGRESS, EGRESS, AND AIRPORT OPERATIONS
TO ALL SECTORS OF AIRPORT FACILITIES DURING NORMAL OPERATING HOURS.
IF WORK SHALL BE PERFORMED DURING AIRPORT OFF HOURS, CONTRACTOR
SHALL COORDINATE THEIR WORK ACCORDINGLY WITH STATE ENGINEER.
CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE CONSTRUCTION BARRICADE LAYOUT TO STATE
ENGINEER FOR REVIEW AND APPROVAL. TEMPORARY SIGNAGE SHALL BE
PROVIDED FOR BOTH PASSENGER AND DOTA EMPLOYEE WAY FINDING DURING
CONSTRUCTION AND SHALL BE CLEARLY VISIBLE AND PROVIDE DIRECT ACCESS
ROUTE TO ALL PORTIONS OF AIRPORT AND THROUGH CONSTRUCTION AREAS
WHERE NECESSARY.
CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR REMOVING AND REINSTALLING
EXISTING STRUCTURES INCLUDING UTILITIES IMPROVEMENTS AND FINISHES AS
IS REQUIRED IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF THIS PROJECT. THE CONTRACTOR
SHALL IN THE WORK OF ALL TRADES, PERFORM ANY AND ALL CUTTING,
PATCHING, REPAIRING, RESTORING AND THE LIKE NECESSARY TO COMPLETE
THE WORK AND TO REPLACE AND REPAIR ANY DAMAGED OR AFFECTED
EXISTING SURFACES RESULTING FROM THE WORK OF THIS CONTRACT TO
THEIR ORIGINAL CONDITION AND PAID FOR BY THE CONTRACTOR TO THE
SATISFACTION OF THE ENGINEER.
CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL CONTRACT DOCUMENTS, SITE DIMENSIONS
AND EXISTING CONDITIONS PRIOR TO STARTING WORK AND SHALL NOTIFY THE
ENGINEER OF ANY DISCREPANCIES OR INCONSISTENCIES.
ALL EXISTING UTILITIES, WHETHER OR NOT SHOWN ON THE PLANS, SHALL
REMAIN IN USE AND SHALL BE PROTECTED AT ALL TIMES BY THE CONTRACTOR
DURING CONSTRUCTION, UNLESS SPECIFIED ON THE PLANS TO BE
ABANDONED. ANY DAMAGES TO THE EXISTING UTILITIES SHALL BE REPAIRED
AND PAID FOR BY THE CONTRACTOR. PERSONAL INJURY RESULTING FROM
CONTACT WITH THE EXISTING UTILITIES SHALL BE THE CONTRACTOR'S
RESPONSIBILITY.
