Giuseppe Archimboldo

He was a painter.He was from Italy.He lived from 1527-1593.He was well known because of his imaginative and creative portraits human heads made up of vegetables, plants, flowers, fruit, sea creatures and tree roots.His style belongs to mannerism.He made portraits to kings and emperors of that time.

One form of the Arcimboldo’s art work was the ability to have two pictures in one painting simply by turning it upside down as seen below.
