Full Name : Leonardo Di Ser Piero Da Vinci Birth : Born on April 15 , 1452 in the town of Vinci, Italy. He was the son of a notary (Messer Piero) , and a peasant named Catrina. Filed Of Expertise: Leonardo was a painter , architect , sculptor , musician , biologist , engineer , inventor , cartographer , botanist , scientist , mathematician and an anatomist.

¡ Little is known about Leonardo’s early life, he spent his five years living with his mother, Catrina , after that he lived with his father , grandparents and uncle in Vinci.

The baptism of Christ , By Verrocchio and Leonardo.
In the age of fourteen , Leonardo was apprenticed to the artist known as Verrocchio , whos workshop was the finest in Florence, Italy. Leonardo collaborated with Verrocchio and together they painted ‘’ The Baptism Of Christ’’ , Leonardo was so talented that he surpassed his teacher to the point Verrocchio put down his brush and never painted again.

¡ Leonardo moved to live in France invited by the king of France Francis I , he gave him a house that was sometimes called “ cloux “ .
¡ Leonardo had no wife or children of his own , he lift all his belongings to his faithful friend and apprentice , Count Melzi , and his student Salai.
¡ He died in his house in France on May 2 , 1519.
