good deed at the same time? The answer is easy. Register today for the

Lions Lake Martin Charity Poker Run.

The 8th annual benefit poker run is set for Saturday, July 16th with par-

ticipants starting at The Ridge Marina and ending at Sinclair’s on the

Lake. All boaters are invited to participate and join us for light hors d’

oeuvres, refreshments, a little music and awards on the deck at Sinclair’s

afterward.

The Poker Run is all about boating, great times, explosive fun and

togetherness with family and friends while raising money for charity.

The cost to enter the benefit run is $125.00 which includes an official

T-shirt and other prizes.

Highest Hand wins $1500 Worst Hand $500

Second Highest Hand $750 Second Worst $250

Third Highest Hand $500 Best Crew $500

Second Best $250

Last year over $10,000 was given to Lake Martin charities.

There are a limited number of spots available so please register early.

The Poker Run is presented by Russell Marine, Sinclair’s, Blue Creek

Benefiting Lake Martin Area Charities

1. You must be 21 years or older to enter. Participants under 21 may enter with a parent or guardian

sponsor.

2. To enter the Poker Run, you must fill out and submit a registration form and the $125 registration fee,

payable to the Alexander City Lions Club. Only one entry per person.

3. Registration for the Poker Run will begin at 8:30 a.m. at The Ridge Marina and will run until 11:00 a.m.

You will be given final details on the Poker Run at this time, along with a ticket indicating your number.

You must have your ticket with you at all times.

4. You will pick up a card from the following locations at the indicated times:

The Ridge Marina (256) 397-1300 8:30 a.m.-11:00 a.m.

River North Marina (256) 397-1500 9:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.

Blue Creek Marina (256) 825-8888 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m.

Real Island Marina (334) 857-2741 11:00 a.m.- 3:00 p.m.

Kowaliga Marina (334) 857-2111 12:00 p.m.- 3:00 p.m.

Sinclair’s Restaurant (334) 857-2889 2:00 p.m.- 3:45 p.m.

5. You must pick up your card BEFORE the cutoff time at each location.

6. Swapping or trading cards is strictly prohibited. Violators will be disqualified.

7. To improve your hand, an additional card can be purchased with a $25 donation to the Alexander City

Lions Club. This can only be done at Sinclair’s between 2:00 p.m. and 3:45 p.m.

ONLY one additional card may be purchased.

8. The winning hands will be announced at Sinclair’s at 4:00 p.m. Prize money will be awarded at that

time, along with additional door prizes. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN.

9. Award for the Best Crew will be given at the discretion of the Alexander City Lions Club.

10. Event management reserves the right to make any rule interpretations and/or decisions regarding this

event.

11. Any questions during the event can be directed to a participating marina or you may call
