Vision
The vision of the APU baseball mentorship program is to ease develop well-rounded young men who are able to excel on and off the field through Christ, scholarship, service, and life skill development.
Mission
The mission of APU baseball mentorship program is to provide a structured and guided format that allows mentors and mentees to meet on a regular basis to discuss current spiritual, social, academic, and transitional challenges.

Your role as mentors is to provide guidance:

As a mentor you have something to offer
You have college and life experience the freshman do not have
You may be able to help underclassmen learn and grow from challenges you have faced
How do I act as a mentor?
Be:
open
authentic
honest
How do I help them grow in these areas?
Each meeting you will be assigned specific questions and areas to work through
These questions will be geared at developing freshman:
socially
spiritually
academically
life skills
Your responsibility as mentors
Take meetings seriously
Show up on time
Practice what you preach
Conclusion
You have a responsibility as an upperclassman to take the younger players under your wing
If we are going to be successful on the field, we must be successful off the field
