April 6, 2014 Celebrate – drawing close and praising God for his work in our lives Thanksgiving and celebration for Annika Grace Coyle, 8 years, April 4, and Matthew Christopher Coyle, 12 years, April 14, children of Sandra Harvey; thanksgiving for Veronica, Ken Klewitz's mother, celebrating her 84th birthday; the brother of Jean Anne Klewitz, as he celebrates his 55th birthday and healing as he struggles with ALS; Lance and Leah Jordan, thanksgiving for answered prayers; thanksgiving for faithful workers and faithful congregations in all contexts of mission and ministry. Mark 13:1-13, 32-37 Our Great Christian Hope Christian hope is not tied to _______________ or ___________ things—beautiful as they may be. (v. 1-2) Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.” (Mark 13:2) Christian hope will not be ________—even by the most violent upheavals. (v. 3-8) There will be earthquakes in various places; there will be famines. These are but the beginning of the birth pains. (Mark 13:8) Christian hope is tied to the gospel (“_______ ______”) of Jesus. (v. 9-11) “… the gospel must first be proclaimed to all nations.” (Mark 13:10) Christian hope is ________ __________ onto at all costs. (v. 12, 32-37) And you will be hated by all for my name's sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. (Mark 13: 13) “But concerning that day or that hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.     Our Great Christian Hope

    Christian hope is not tied to _______________ or ___________ things—beautiful as they may be. (v. 1-2)

    Jesus said to him, “Do you see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.” (Mark 13:2)

    Christian hope will not be ________—even by the most violent upheavals. (v. 3-8)

    There will be earthquakes in various places; there will be famines. These are but the beginning of the birth pains. (Mark 13:8)
