Sa aton Ebanghelyo subong, isa ka malip-ot nga tinaga ang nagahimo sang daku nga kinalain. Ini amo ang tinaga nga Akon nakilala ko ang akon nga mga karnero, kag sila nakakilala sa akon. Indi lang mga karnero kundi akon mga karnero. Ining tinaga nga akon naghatag kinalain sa Maayo nga Manugbantay kag sa sinuholan lang. Ngaa? Tungod kay ang isa sinuhulan man lang sia kag indi man ini iya karnero; samtang, ang Maayo nga Manugbantay handa sa paghatag sang Iya kabuhi para sa Iya mga karnero kon sila mapahamtang sa katalagman. May daku nga kinalain sa tunga sang tag-iya kag sang trabahador, sa tunga sang nanay sang bata kag sang yaya sang bata, sa tunga sang tag-iya kag sang isa nga naga-alkila lang, sa tunga sang manugbantay kag sang sinuholan lang. Ang kinala-in makita sa tinaga nga akon akon ini anak, akon ini balay, akon ini negosyo, akon ini duta, kag sa nasiling ni Jesus, akon ini karnero.Sa pagsiling ni Jesus nga Akon ini karnero nagahimo Sia sang isa a pag-ako. Gina-ako Niya nga kita Iya. Karon, indi lang kita karnero. Sa baylo, kita Iya karnero, resulta sang pagpili sang Dios, resulta sang desisyon sang Dios Iya kita mga karnero, Iya kita panong, kag tungod sining pagpili sa aton, Sia amo ang aton Manugbantay.Karon nga adlaw amo ang Domingo sang Maayo nga Manugbantay. Ini nga adlaw amo man ang Adlaw sang Pagpangamuyo para sa Bokasyon sa bug-os nga kalibutan. Sa sini nga Domingo ginasulit sang Simbahan ang pangabay sang Ginoo nga magpangamuyo sa Tag-iya sang alanyon, agud magpadala Sia sing dugang nga mga mangangani sa pagtipon sang iya patubas.Ang bokasyon naghalin sa realidad nga ang Dios may tinutuyo sa pagtuga sa tagsa-tagsa sa aton. Indi lang kita aksidente nga nagtuhaw sa ibabaw sang kalibutan. Ginbuot kita sang Dios, ginpili kita sang Dios, gintuga kita bangud kay may tinutuyo Sia para sa aton. Gani ang aton Ikaduha nga Balasahon nagasiling; Talupangda ninyo kon daw ano ang paghigugma sang Amay sa aton! Ang Iya gugma para sa aton tama ka daku sa bagay nga ginatawag kita nga mga anak sang Dios.Ang katesismo sang Simbahan nagatudlo sa aton nga kita gintuga sang Dios agud nga makilala, mahigugma kag maalagaran naton ang Dios sa sini nga kabuhi agud nga magkabuhi kita upod sa Iya didto sa Langit. Liwaton ko. Ngaa gintuga kita sang Dios? Kita gintuga sang Dios agud nga makilala, mahigugma kag maalagaran naton ang Dios sa sini nga kabuhi agud nga magkabuhi kita upod sa Iya didto sa Langit.

Amo ini ang aton bokasyon heneral amo ini ang tinutuyo sang Dios kon ngaa Iya kita gintuga. May iban nga nagatawag sini ang aton bokasyon sa pagpakabalaan. May iban man nga nagatawag sini nga bokasyon sa pagkabalaan. May iban man nga nagatawag sini nga bokasyon sa paghigugma. This is our general vocation.Karon, paano naton ikabuhi ining bokasyon heneral paano naton alagaran ang Dios, paano naton ipahayag ang aton gugma sa Iya didto sa Langit? Paano naton ini ikabuhi? Amo ini ang aton bokasyon partikular our particular vocation. Ang pamaagi agud makabuhi naton ang aton general vocation is our particular vocation.Kalabanan sa inyo pagbinag-binag sang kabubut-on sang Dios nagpili sa pagkilala, sa paghigugma kag sa pag-alagad sa Dios paagi sa pagtukod sang isa ka panimalay, paagi sa paghigugma sang imo bana ukon asawa, paagi sa pagpadaku sang imo mga kabataan.May iban sa inyo nga nagpili sa pagdedikar sang ila kabuhi paagi sa paghalad sini para sa ila isigkatawo nga wala nagpamana ukon nagpangasawa.May iban pa gid pagkatapos nga makilala ang kabubut-on sang Dios, nagpili nga mangin madre, ukon monghe ukon mongha, ukon relihiyoso. Si Jesus amo ang aton Maayong Manugbantay. Isa sa mga laragway ni Jesus amo nga Sia nagakarga sang isa ka karnero sa Iya abaga upod sang mga panong sang karnero. Ako amo ang Maayo nga Manugbantay. Subong nga ang Amay nakakilala sa akon kag ako nakakilala sa Amay, sa amo man nga bagay nakilala ko ang akon mga karnero, kag sila nakakilala sa akon, kag ako handa sa paghatag sang akon kabuhi para sa ila (Juan 14-15). Ang pamangkot, ano bala ang aton paghangup sang kapinasahi sang Iya pagka Maayo nga Manugbantay? Ano naman bala kita nga klase sang Iya mga panong? Indi naman siguro mabudlay hangpon nga ang sapat makakilala gid sa iya agalon. Bisan sa aton na lang mga ido sa balay, kon may iban nga tawo magkadto sa aton, iya dayon ginataghol. Apang kon ang agalon ang mag-abot nagabali-bali gid ang hawak sang iwol-iwol. Kilala gid niya ang iya agalon.Gani ang Iya mga pahanungdan naangot gid sa

Ang maayo nga manugbantay handa sa paghatrag sang iya kabui para sa mga karnero. 12Ang sinuholan nga indi amo ang manugbantay, kag indi tag-iya sang karnero, nagapalagyo kag nagabiya sang mga karnero, kon makita niya ang lobo nga nagapakari, gani ang lobo nagataban sang mga karnero kag nagapapalplaag sa iya. 13Ang sinuholan nagapalagyo, kay sinuholan man lang sia, kag wala sia nagakabalaka sa mga karnero. 14-45Ako amo ang maayo nga manugbantay. Subong nga ang Amay nakakilala sa akon kag ako nakakilala sa Amay, sa amo man nga bagay nakilala ko ang akon mga karnero, kag sila nakakilala sa akon; kag ako handa sa paghatag sang akon kabuhi para sa ila. 16May iban pa ako nga mga karnero nga wala sa sini nga toril.

Kinahanglan nga dalhon ko man sila. Magapamati sila sang akon tingog kag mangin-isa sila ka panong nga lmay is aka manugbantay.17Ang Amay nagahigugma sa akon, kay handa ako sa paghatag sang akon kabuhi, kabuhi sang tao kag ginasagod nga sapat, sa isa ka bakero kag mga karnero, kay madali Sia nga mahangpan ilabi na kon sila nakaagi bakero. Sa Iya mga palaanggiran, maathag nga ginasaysay Niya kon daw ano ka malahalon nga bagay nga may ara gid nga manugbantay ukon bakero ang panong. Ang Iya sini ginapatuhuyan amo ang Iya kaugalingon. Luyag Niya mahibaluan sang Iya mga gintutun-an nga indi lang nga maayo Sia nga Manugbatay kundi Manugbantay nga handa sa pagpangapin kag pagpanginmatay para sa Iya mga panong. Ginhambal gid Niya kon sin-o Sia. Gani, daw indi kinaandan kag makatilingala gid para sa Iya mga sumulunod ang mga pahanungdan ni Jesus sa ila. Kay nahibaluan na nila nga ang ila manugbantay amo ang Dios nga Amay, kasubong sang ginasaad sa Daan nga Kasugtanan. Ano kon sayuron ang mangin karnero sa panong ni Jesus? Ina amo ang pagsulod sa Iya toril paagi sa ganhaan. Sia lang gid ang dalan sang kaluwasan. Nakilala naton ang

Iya tingug nga nagatawag sa aton, gani magsunod kita sa Iya. Pope Francis made his way along St. Peters Square on Wednesday, blessing pilgrims in his general audience. At one point he actually got off the popemobile, tobless this elderly woman. These religious also had their moment with the Pope, and it seemed like they didnt want to let him go. In his catechesis, the Pope talked about the complimentary roles of men and women.

Women are not replicas of men. They come directly from God the Creator. The image of a woman coming from Adams rib, does not express inferiority or subordination. On the contrary, men and women are of the same substance. They are complimentary. He also denounced sexism and the exploitation of women and their bodies in the mass media. Sin he added, breaks the connection between men and women.

Lets think about the recent rise of distrust, skepticism and hostility thats growing in our culture. Especially womens understandable mistrust that the union between a man and a woman, can also refine the intimacy

who has left home or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my names sake, will receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life (Mt 19:29). All of this is profoundly rooted in love. The Christian vocation isfirstand foremostacall to love,a love which attracts us and draws us out of ourselves, decentring us and triggering an ongoing exodus out of the closed inward-looking self towards its liberation through self-giving, and thus towards authentic self-discovery and indeed the discovery of God (Deus Caritas Est, 6).The exodus experience is paradigmatic of the Christian life, particularly in the case of those who have embraced a vocation of special dedication to the Gospel. This calls for a constantly renewed attitude of conversion and transformation, an incessant moving forward, a passage from death to life like that celebrated in every liturgy, an experience of passover. From the call of Abraham to that of Moses, from Israels pilgrim journey through the desert to the conversion preached by the prophets, up to the missionary journey of Jesus which culminates in his death and resurrection, vocation is always a work of God. He leads us beyond our initial situation, frees us from every enslavement, breaks down our habits and our indifference, andbrings us to the joy of communion with him and with our brothers and sisters. Responding to Gods call, then, means allowing him to help us leave ourselves and our false security behind, and to strike out on the path which leads to Jesus Christ, the origin and destiny of our life and our happiness.This exodus process does not regard individuals alone, but the missionary and evangelizing activity of the whole Church. The Church is faithful to her Master to the extent that she is a Church which goes forth, a Church which is less concerned about herself, her structures and successes, and more about her ability to go out and meet Gods children wherever they are, to feel compassion (com-passio) for their hurt and pain. God goes forth from himself in a Trinitarian dynamic of love: he hears the cry of his people and he intervenes to set them free (Ex 3:7). The Church is called to follow

Message of Pope Francis for 52nd World Day of Prayer For Vocations26 April 2015 - 4th Sunday of EasterDear Brothers and Sisters,The Fourth Sunday of Easter offers us the figure ofthe Good Shepherd who knows his sheep: he calls them, he feeds them and he guides

them. For over fifty years theuniversal Church has celebrated this Sunday as the World Day of Prayer for Vocations. In this way she reminds us of our need to pray, as Jesus himself told his disciples, so that the Lord of the harvest may send out labourers into his harvest (Lk 10:2). Jesus command came in the context of his sending out missionaries. He called not only the twelve Apostles, but another seventy-two disciples whom he then sent out, two by two, for the mission (cf. Lk 10:1-6). Since the Church is by her very nature missionary (Ad Gentes, 2), the Christian vocation is necessarily born of the experience of mission. Hearing and following the voice of Christ the Good Shepherd, means letting ourselves be attracted and guided by him, in consecration to him; it means allowing the Holy Spirit to draw us into this missionary dynamism, awakening within us the desire, the joy and the courage to offer our ownlives in the service of the Kingdom of God.

Toofferoneslifeinmissionispossibleonly if we are able to leave ourselves behind. On this 52nd World Day of Prayer for Vocations, I would like reflect on thatparticular exodus which is the heart of vocation, or better yet, of our response to the vocation God gives us. When we hear the word exodus, we immediately think of the origins of the amazing love story between God and his people, a history which passes through the dramatic period of slavery in Egypt, the calling of Moses, the experience of liberation and the journey toward the Promised Land. The Book of Exodus, the second book of the Bible, which recounts these events is a parable of the entire history of salvation, but also of the inner workings of Christian faith. Passing from the slavery of the old Adam to new life in Christ is a event of redemption which takes place through faith (Eph 4:22-24). This passover is a genuine exodus; it is the journey of each Christian soul and the entire Church, the decisive turning of our lives towards the Father.At the root of every Christian vocation wefind thisbasicmovement,which ispartof the experience of faith. Belief means transcending ourselves, leaving behind our comfort and the inflexibility of ourego in order to centre our life in Jesus Christ. It means leaving, like Abraham, our native place and going forward with trust, knowing that God will show us the way to a new land. This going forward is not to be viewed as a sign of contempt for ones life, ones feelings, ones own humanity. On the contrary, those who set out to follow Christ find life in abundance by puttingthemselves completely at the service of God and his kingdom. Jesus says: Everyone

From the Archbishop down to the humblest worker, everything is rendered unselfishly andwholeheartedly.Our bishop and priests never tire of saying Masses and their eloquence in their homilies gives us a very nice understanding of each activity. There are deacons, readers and distributors of leaflets neededfor information. Our male and female Eucharistic Ministers administer Holy Communion to hundreds of Mass-goers who want to receive the Sacred Host. Also present are the usherettes who render their assignmentswithmuchself-sacrifice.Sincethe Cathedral needs repair and the Candle Light welcomes donations, they pass the collection bags twice during the Mass, no matter how crowded the church is. They also act as guides to the blind and the weak.Beside the Church is the Adoration Chapel. There is a guard taking care of it and he sees to it that those who go inside the chapel remove their footwear before entering to adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament.There are uniformed guards taking care ofthetrafficandtheplacementofcarsand

progress anytime, anywhere.From home to established institutions, to schools, to commercial places, there will be smoothness of activities if services are rendered not only by hands and feet, but most especially by the heart.Service through the apostolate is one that brings forth fruit even after many years. I had an experience which I want to share with you.When Colonel Calixto Enojo, the Catholic priest of Camp Delgado, learned that the Values Formation Seminar was already through in Catanduanes, attended by nuns and University students in Manila, and luckily by Fr. Tomas Tibudan and myself from Iloilo, he requested me to conduct also a seminar for soldiers in Camp Delgado. Mr. Lacuesta and I conducted three seminars during the time of General Rio, and thirteen seminars under Gen. Zulueta. General Mondejar also requested us to give the same to policemen and tanods. That was many years ago. I couldnt remember the names and faces of the soldiers and policemen. One day, a few months ago, I hesitated to cross the street in Iloilo, near the SM corner. It was too busy and many cars were passing by. I was surprised when a policeman took me by the hand, whistled for the cars to stop and led me to the other side of the road. She is meant to be a Church which evangelizes, goes out to encounter humanity, proclaims the liberating word of the Gospel, heals peoples spiritual and physical wounds with the grace of God, and offers relief to the poor andthesuffering.Dear brothers and sisters, this liberating exodus towards Christ and our brothers and sisters also represents the way for us to fully understand our common humanity and to foster the historical development of individuals and societies. To hear and answer the Lords call is not a private and completely personal matter fraught with momentary emotion. Rather,

it is a specific, real and total commitmentwhich embraces the whole of our existence and sets it at the service of the growth of Gods Kingdom on earth. The Christian vocation, rooted in the contemplation of the Fathers heart, thus inspires us to solidarity in bringing liberation to our brothers and sisters, especially the poorest. A disciple of Jesus has a heart open to his unlimited horizons, and friendship with the Lord never meansflightfromthislifeorfromtheworld.On the contrary, it involves a profound interplay between communion and mission (cf. Evangelii Gaudium, 23).This exodus towards God and others fills our liveswith joy andmeaning. Iwishto state this clearly to the young, whose youth and openness to the future makes them open-hearted and generous. At times uncertainty, worries about the future and the problems they daily encounter can risk paralyzing their youthful enthusiasm and shattering their dreams, to the point where theycanthinkthatitisnotworththeeffortto get involved, that the God of the Christian faith is somehow a limit on their freedom. Dear young friends, never be afraid to go out from yourselves and begin the journey! The Gospel is the message which brings freedom to our lives; it transforms them and makes them all the more beautiful. How wonderful it is to be surprised by Gods call, to embrace his word, and to walk in the footsteps of Je-sus, in adoration of the divine mystery and in generous service to our neighbours! Your life will become richer and more joyful each day!The Virgin Mary, model of every vo-cation,didnot fear toutterher fiat in re-sponse to the Lords call. She is at our side and she guides us. With the generous cour-age born of faith, Mary sang of the joy of leav-ing herself behind and entrusting to God the plans she had for her life. Let us turn to her, so that we may be completely open to what God has planned for each one of us, so that we can grow in the desire to go out with tender concern towards others (cf. Lk 1:39). May the Virgin Mary protect and intercede for us all.
