Angioplasty Summit – TCT Asia Pacific started in 1995 and now it has become one of the major educational programs for the global communication of interventionalcardiology. After the establishment of CVRF, we carried out the 8th and 9th Angioplasty Summit successfully and preparing the 10thmeeting as the most significant one under the name of the Angioplasty Summit 2005-TCT Asia Pacific. (www.summitmd.com)
On & Off line Education>> www.summitMD.comIs an educational program on website opened in 2002. It is a clinical case-oriented educational website continuously providing the mostupdated information.
>> Practical Workshop for young interventional cardiologistsheld twice a year helps the Participants to obtain hand-on-experiences through 2-way communication, and conducts case reviews andfree discussions with specialists under the specific main theme for each workshop.
>> Training ProgramsAre designed to provide participants with concentrated experiences in cardiovascular intervention including exposure to currentpractices in Japan, USA, and Europe.
- Short-term Training Program: 2 participants every semester for 2 months
- Long-term Training Program: 1 participant every year for 1 year
Clinical ResearchGood research is critical to patient care. Our goal is to become an important member of the international research community byconducting and financially supporting multi-national and multi-center, basic and clinical research studies.
We are supplying annual research funding for distinguished projects to support basic & multi institutional clinical trials oncardiovascular diseases and interventional procedures to activate fine studies.
About CVRFCardioVascular Research Foundation AsiaCardioVascular Research Foundation(CVRF) was established as a non-profit organization approved by the Ministry ofHealth and Welfare in Korea to contribute to the improvement in the health of human being. ( www.cvrf.org )
