Fellowship Hall

OUR CONDOLENCES TO:

The family of John Rogers.

The family of Vessie Newberry.

The Shores family in the death of Amy Pelham’s cousin.

Virginia Morris in the death of her sister, Sara Welch of Nashville, GA.

CONGRATULATIONS TO:

Brian and Jamye Donalson on the birth of their daughter, Sadie Marie

Donalson, born April 16th. Grandparents are Jimmy Childree and Marie

Donalson. Siblings are Grace, Carter, Gabby, Kell and Aubri.

We want to honor Robert Robinson in our 11 AM

service this Sunday Morning. As of the 30th of April, Robert

will be retiring after 33 plus years as church custodian. In ap-

preciation of his work and dedication we will have a basket at

the front of the church to place cards in and will have a

“Money Tree” available to attach a love offering. Don’t miss

this opportunity to say “Thank You!” to Robert.

I want to thank the many volunteers that help minister

over the weekend from our Benevolent Committee and Audio/

Visual Committee. You did an outstanding job caring for the

two families in their time of bereavement.

Most folks don’t realize how many volunteers it takes

to make a church effective. While there are paid staff mem-

bers, they can only do so much. It is the volunteers that make

the church “hum”. We are heading into the season of gather-

ing new volunteers for committees and offices of the church. I

hope you will be praying that God will lead you to His place

of service for you.

Are you praying for our church? I hope so. If you

are, or, are not, let me give you some things to pray for:

Ask God How He can use you.

Pray for the Staff and God’s leadership in their lives.

Pray for the activities and ministries of the Church.

Pray for one another.

Pray for future events, VBS, Summer Camps, etc.

Pray for God to revive us!

I look forward to seeing you this Sunday.

Paul
