APRIL 2016
It was AGM time at the April meeting of the Port Lincoln Camera Club. Our outgoing president, Steve Sykes
spoke of the enjoyment of the challenge of holding this position since 2010, during which the committee has
continually looked at ways to accommodate and stimulate all members varying range of expertise and
experience. He thanked the outgoing committee and welcomed members of the new, hoping they “enjoy
the next 12 months and steer our group along the road of adventures in photography”.
Thank you Steve for sharing your wealth of knowledge and experience with us over the last 5 years.

Robertson with “Red Sky” and third was “Christmas – WOW” by Gordon Fowler.
For March in the Open Category the judge was impressed with the stunning light captured by Judy
Glendenning’s “Farm Gate”, while Hamish Robertson scored a second place with “The Golden Dawn” and
Gordon Fowler third with “Boxed In”. In the Open Section popular vote “Enjoying the Sunshine” by Lesley
Scarman won first place followed at second place by Hamish Robertson’s “Piping Shrike” and third with Judy
Glendenning’s “Farm Gate”. A Merit was awarded to Lesley Scarman for “Collecting Pollen”.

Water”, while Judy Glendenning was second with “Evening Walk” and Leslie Scarman third with “Port Kenny

well in the popular vote being second with “A Moment to Reflect” and third with “Smoke on the Water”.
