CAR SHOW TO BENEFIT THE TOWN OF WASHINGTON, ILLINOIS

The Lemont Classic Car Club is trying to set up a Charity Car Show for the town of Washington, Illinoisthat the tornado destroyed last November. Jim Demopoulos has traveled down to Washington several timeshimself to help with some of the clean up and has met with some of the people in charge. They are really in needof help financially as almost the whole town has been damaged in some way from the storm. We are hoping thatother Car Clubs in our area will be willing to jump in and help host one of the biggest car shows in the area withall the proceeds going to help these people in real need of assistance. The show will probably be in the latter partof summer after we host our own “Little Cruisers” Charity Car Show. We are also hoping that we can get someTV Stations and Businesses to help us promote this special Charity Car Show. We have a couple of venues inmind that are large enough to hold a lot of show vehicles as well as spectators. If you are willing to help and havesome ideas please come out to our Monday night meetings at the Lemon Tree Restaurant or call John @708-301-8899 as we are gathering information and ideas there. Watch our website for more information as it becomesavailable.
