Those Eagle scouts present will also participate in the flag ceremony and assist in awards ceremony. ]3. Our new District Chairman will be introduced at this dinner. Special guests will be two Exchange students/scouts from Germany . 4. Awards presented at the dinner will be the District Awards of Merit, Sparkplug Awards, Unit Awards. Your support at this event is a unique opportunity to support Troop 324 and local businesses all while picking up some great deals. Troop 254Hello Scouters,The new year is in fullswing and better campingweather still ahead. Troop254 and their new Scoutsare getting ready forCamporee.We are also preparing forwhat promises to be thebest Colorado SummerCamp yet.We are gearing up for anewly formatted SummerCamp full fun, knowledge,travel and adventure.From Chimney Rock andthe tales of the Chaco Indi-ans to Echo Lake and itsgreat fishing. Too the Con-tinental divide and somefun in the snow. Troop 254is still welcoming newScouts who wish join aTroop with an exiting out-door program.Eagle Scout news, thisyear we should have asmany as 5 Scouts earn theEagle Rank. Courts ofHonor are a busy time forthis hard working group ofScouts.

Mr. Thomas Toney andOtter Patrol were namedHonor Patrol at TA-172.This was great Scout runcourse that displayed plen-ty of quality instruction andleadership.Troops should do theirbest to support Scouts thatwish to attend Twin Ar-rows. This is a fantasticleadership course. FromRoadrunner District wehad two youth serving onStaff and they certainlyenjoyed teaching as muchas the enjoyed learning. Ihad the pleasure of work-ing with Mr Curtis Mayoand Mr Miles Belvin, con-gratulation on a job welldone.Troop 254 is getting readyfor a Philmont Trek. Seeyou there. Pack 1007had a wonderful time atfamily camp, which tookplace on March 21-22 at

Camp Burnett in South-lake. The hike aroundLake Grapevine was oneof the highlights, and ofcourse the camp food,leather crafts, footballgame, and our favoritecamp dog named Hootie.Our Saturday night campended with songs andskits, and the Cubmasterconducted a ceremony toretire an American flag We had a great Blueand Gold Banquet yester-day. It was our secondannual banquet, and our

first one with bridging andArrow of Light ceremonies.Thanks to our Woa-palanne Chapter ceremo-

ny team, they did greatjob! All those cub scouts'eyes were all lit up whenthey saw the OA team forthe first time. Thanks toeach for coming, helpingand providing props anddesserts, thanks to troop509 came to help set upfor us at 12 noon, and ourDen Chief RJ did greatjob to lead the openingand closing flag ceremo-nies and help with the skit.It is always a high momentto see our scouts honoredfor their achievements.
