IANS,
California: An Indian-originwoman, nicknamed the "BombshellBandit" and convicted of robbing fourbanks in three US states, has beensentenced to 66 months in prison.
Sandeep Kaur, 24, of Union City,California, was sentenced in the federaldistrict court in St. George in the US stateof Utah on Tuesday, according to a St.George News report. Her attorney, JayWinward, unsuccessfully requested for alesser sentence for Kaur.
Kaur pleaded guilty in January tofour felony charges of bank robberiesthat occurred during the summer of2014.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation,FBI, dubbed Kaur "Bombshell Bandit"after robberies last year in which a well-dressed woman
approached bank tellers andthreatened to detonate a bomb if they didnot hand over cash from their registers.
Kaur's crime spree began inCalifornia and ended after robbing theUS Bank in the city of St. George, andleading police officers on a high-speedpursuit to Nevada, where she wasarrested after an hour-long stand-off.
Winward asked the court for asentence of 48 months. He told the courtthat Kaur was young, well-educated,capable of paying restitution, and had no
prior criminal history. She was raised in a
traditional Indian familyand grew up feeling"trapped" and bullied,Winward said.
She had run from anarranged marriage, to herboyfriend, whom shesubsequently married. However, the relationshipturned abusive, Winwardsaid.
After making somemoney in the stock market,Kaur ended up in Las Vegas, acquiring a gamblingaddiction and becomingindebted to loan sharks, according to the attorney.
He told the court thatKaur was not a run-of-the-mill criminal, but rather a"good, wholesome personwho made some horribledecisions".
Kaur felt remorse,Winward said, and had
been a model prisoner; and she hadturned back to her religion. She waswilling and capable of paying back themoney she had stolen in the bankrobberies, and could become a usefulmember of society, he said.
Winward also said that even thoughKaur threatened violence during therobberies, she was not a violent personand did not have a firearm or explosivesduring the robberies.
However, prosecuting attorney PaulKohler said that during the robberies, thebank tellers did not know Kaur did nothave a weapon, and so were afraid fortheir lives. The tellers were "trapped", aswere the families driving on the I-15motorway during the police chase, andthe police officers who responded.
Before pronouncing the sentence,US district judge Ted Stewart called thecase "complex", citing both the violenceof Kaur's crimes, and her intelligence andopportunities. Kaur graduated from highschool at the age of 15, and from nursingschool at 19, he said.
However, the circumstances ofKaur's life explained, but did not justifythe crimes, the judge said, and did notwarrant a lesser sentence. The publicmust be protected, he said.
Besides serving 66 months inprison, Kaur was ordered to repay the$40,000 taken in the four robberies

For many people, their vehicle isone of their most valuable possessions.Thieves know that too and that’s whythey are targeting your vehicles. Treatingyour keys like cash and keeping themsecured at all times is the best andeasiest way to keep thieves from layingtheir hands on your wheels.
April is Auto Crime EnforcementMonth and the Coquitlam Mounties areworking with the Integrated MunicipalProvincial Auto Crime Team (IMPACT)and Insurance Corporation of BritishColumbia (ICBC) to help vehicle ownersto protect their vehicles from car thieves.
"For a decade we’ve seen significantdecreases in auto crime in B.C. due toincreased awareness, police enforcementincluding the Bait Car program andlegislation requiring new vehicles to beequipped with immobilizers. However,in 2014, there was an increase in autotheft compared to 2013," said CorporalJamie Chung. "Locally, our data showsan increase of 12% in vehicle thefts and9% in break-ins to vehicles from 2013 to2014. More recent data also shows autocrimes trending in both of our last twoCompStat Alerts."
Here are some helpful tips to keepyou from being a victim of auto theft ortheft from auto:
Always keep your vehicle’s keys, fobs or valet keys secured. Don’t keepthem in the vehicle when it’sunoccupied; or leave them unguarded, such as on a table in a coffee shop or ina gym locker. Don’t leave your vehiclerunning unattended. Use an anti-theftdevice, such as a steering wheel lock, analarm or an immobilizer, to deter yourvehicle from being targeted.
Leave nothing of value in yourvehicle. Thieves will break-in to a vehicleto steal loose change or empty pop cans.
Park in secured and well-lit areaswith a lot of foot traffic. Always close allthe windows and lock all the doors, evenif you are away from your vehicle for justa few seconds.
Protect your vehiclesby treating your keyslike cash

The case for a national pharmacare program, covering
prescription drug costs for all Canadians, is now noticeably
stronger. A persuasive new study analyzing the cost of such coverage
has found it would save a great deal of money, especially for the
private sector, with relatively little expense to government.
“In many of the scenarios we modelled, universal
pharmacare was cost-neutral for governments,” says Dr. Danielle
Martin, one of the study’s authors and a vice-president at Women’s
College Hospital in Toronto. “This goes against current thinking
that a universal program will cost more.”
These findings, published in the Canadian Medical
Association Journal, should be required reading for provincial and
territorial politicians and especially in Ottawa, where federal
determination to make pharmacare happen has been noticeably
lacking.
Universal public drug coverage could lower annual spending
on prescription medicine in Canada by $7.3 billion, the study’s
authors conclude. Several scenarios were developed on what such a
program might cost government, with the worst-case estimate
pegging additional costs at $5.4 billion and the best-case scenario
producing a net saving of $2.9 billion.
Under a mid-range “base scenario,” total cost to
governments would be $958 million. But that would generate an
$8.2-billion drop in private-sector spending on prescription drugs.
It’s an investment well worth making.
Savings of this magnitude would put Canadian per capita
prescription drug spending on par with levels in countries such as
Switzerland, Austria and Spain, the authors note. (Nations such as
the United Kingdom, New Zealand and Sweden spend even less.)
Canadians currently shell out an average of 50 per cent more per
capita than people in other developed countries. It’s no coincidence
that Canada is alone in having a universal health insurance system
that does not include the cost of prescription drugs.
Instead, what we have is a mish-mash of private drug plans
— with access typically depending on where a person works — and
a patchwork of federal and provincial systems, typically serving
groups deemed to be in need, such as the elderly and welfare
recipients. Their prescriptions are already funded by taxpayers.
It’s a woefully inadequate system that leaves many
Canadians with no drug coverage, especially the young, the self-
employed and people working for small businesses that can’t afford
to provide a drug plan. As a result, millions of Canadians lack
money to buy the medicines they need.
A national pharmacare program would unite the country’s
purchasing power and use economies of scale to help negotiate
lower prices for both generic and brand-name drugs. That’s the
main way other countries have managed to control
expenditure.
Pharmacare would mean big savings

Washington (ANI): NASA’s chiefscientist has claimed that they could findevidence of alien life in the universe asearly as 2025.
Ellen Stofan said during a paneldiscussion that focused on the spaceagency's efforts to search for habitableworlds and alien life that they are goingto have definitive evidence within 20 to30 years, as they now know where andhow to look, Fox News reported.
Former astronaut John Grunsfeld, associate administrator for NASA’sScience Mission Directorate, sharedStofan’s optimism, predicting that signsof life will be found relatively soon bothin the Earth’s solar system and beyond.
Recent discoveries suggested thatthe solar system and broader Milky Waygalaxy teem with environments that
could support life as we know it, hefurther added.
Hunting for evidence of alien life isa much trickier proposition thanidentifying potentially habitableenvironments. But researchers areworking steadily toward that moreinvolved and ambitious goal. Forexample, the agency’s next Mars rover, scheduled to launch in 2020, will searchfor signs of past life and cache samplesfor a possible return to Earth for analysis.NASA also aims to land astronauts onMars in the 2030s. NASA is also planningout a mission to Europa, which maylaunch as early as 2022. The main goalof this 2.1 billion dollars mission will beto shed light on the icy moon’s potentialhabitability, but it could also search forsigns of alien life.
NASA’s chief scientist claims to findsigns of alien life by 2025
There would be a modestincrease in one cost
category: uninsured people whocan’t afford medicine will finallyfill their prescriptions. But therewould be additional savings, too, by eliminating theduplication of legal, technicaland administrative workinherent in Canada’s existing, disjointed approach. The netresult would be a far more cost-effective system. But the goal of nationalpharmacare isn’t just to savemoney. Prescription medication
can keep people healthy, easepain, avoid trips to the hospital, and even save lives.Pharmacare is ultimately aboutgiving all Canadians access tothe medicines they need, regardless of where they work, the province where they live, their age, their medicalcondition or whether they’re onwelfare. It’s about closing a disgracefulgap in our universal health caresystem.

Lately, public education in BritishColumbia, especially at the k-12 level, has been getting a rough ride. Theprovincial government has beenconsistently cutting back on its muchneeded financial support for our publicschools. The latest command fromVictoria that the school districts mustshave off another $29 million from theirbudgets is bound to cause lot ofdisruptions in our already stressed outpublic schools. These cuts, year afteryear, have been going on for the pastfourteen years. None of the sixty schooldistricts would be spared the pain ofcutbacks, staff layoffs and other relatednegative effects.
I have had the privilege of workingin BC’s public school system in variouscapacities (from classroom teacher toadministrator to school psychologist) for36 years. As such, I have nothing butpraise for our teachers, administratorsand support staff who have been doing acommendable job in providing the bestpossible education to our children andyouth. It is rather unfortunate, that thedecision makers in Victoria considerteachers in the public school system astheir adversaries rather than theirpartners in educating the young minds.Without strong advocacy for publiceducation in Victoria, the teachers andtheir union-BC Teachers’ Federation-have to fend for themselves. A vastmajority of our public school teachersand support staff simply want to do theirjob in the best possible manner they can. However, sometime they are forced into asituation over which they have nocontrol. The strike/lockout towards the
end of last school year and the beginningof this school year was a typical exampleof this.
Rather than ensuring stability andpredictability in the school system, theprovincial government keeps tinkeringwith it. The latest changes beingsuggested by the government are aimedat major restructuring of the systemwhich is bound to result in moreunpredictability and uncertainty. In thiscontext, Vancouver Sun columnistDaphne Bramham, in her column(Vancouver Sun, March 28), put it verywell in these words: “A blunt reading ofthe BC government’s plan for publiceducation is this: Impoverish it, neutercritics (including teachers and electedschool trustees) and centralize control.Once control is centralized, the blueprintseems to be to move to the Americanmodel where public school funding andteachers’ pay are linked more closely tostudents’ test scores.” This scenarioseems to be very troublesome for BC’spublic school system which is very wellrespected around the globe.
BC’s public schools cannot bechoosy like their private counterparts. They are under obligation to accept anychild/youth that walks through theirdoors. Our public schools are expected toprovide first-rate education to allstudents. These include children withspecial needs, children with little Englishand those who arrive at school hungry, students with social, emotional andbehaviour difficulties etc. There arecountless stories of schools and teachersstruggling to meet the growing needs oftheir students under very difficult
circumstances. Since 1988 the funding toschool has been under provincial control. On top of that, there are costs beyond aschool district’s control .Yet; the schooldistrict has to cut somewhere else tomeet those additional costs/expenses asits budget must be balanced. This putsthe administrators and elected schooltrustees in an extremely difficultsituation.
Certainly, our elected schoolboards are on the front lines to defendand act as advocates for the public schoolsystem. This is what they are expected todo. Most of them are doing an excellentjob in this regard. However, in view ofthe ever-changing educational landscapethey need more public support. At thesame time our school trustees and the BCSchool Trustees Association need tobecome more vocal and visible inlobbying the provincial government formore funding. The provincialgovernment also needs to recognize theimportance of public schools in society.Furthermore, there is an onus upon eachone of us as parents, grandparents andconcerned citizens to convince thegovernment to stop any further cuts toour public schools and provide morefunding to them. These measures will goa long way in restoring confidence in ourpublic education and enable all of thestakeholders to serve the students intheir care in the most effective manner. Our children and youth deserve it.

Apna Roots, April 10th, 201512 Horoscope
Dear SOS: I am a modernperson who feels people havethe right to live their lives asthey choose. Because of that Ihave given my children theright to decide what theywant, where they want to goand who their friends are. Ihave taught them todifferentiate right fromwrong. I believe my kids aregood kids. That example wasshown to me recently.
We were recently at afamily party and my sister-in-law and brother-in-law camein with their two daughtersand I was very surprised to seehow they were dressed. Thegirls were wearing dressesthat sat very high on theirthighs. And the neckline randown to the point that thegirls’ cleavages were showingto a point that it’s notappropriate at any functionlet alone at a family function. But their parents seemoblivious to this fact. Thisgathering was a mixed crowd
with a 1/4 percent of thecrowd made up of Beejis andBaba jis and a ¼ percent madeup of young people in theirmid twenties or younger andthe rest of people were in theirforties and fifties. I saw theladies roll their eyes whenthey saw these girls.
I actually feltembarrassed. But no one saidanything to the girls or totheir parents. When we camehome, I was surprised to havemy kids make comments abouthow the girls’ dresses were notappropriate. They wonderedwhy the parents did not sayanything. They said there is aplace and a time to wearclothes like this and this wasnot one of them. They askedme if I would allow them towear anything like this to aparty, where most of thecrowd was Indian Beejis, Babajis, Aunties and Uncles. Myanswer was no. Now, this isnot to say that my girls don’twear shorts or short dresses
but they are always in decentlength and don’t shout toeveryone to come look at me. Itoo am surprised at theirparents for not sayinganything. My kids questionedwhy no one said anything tothem. Well, I have no answerand I also questioned why noone said anything. These areparents who are always thefirst to make negativecomments about otherpeople’s children.
Shocked in SurreyDear Shocked in Surrey: I
have found those who make lots offuss about other people’s childrenusually end up with their own kidsdoing things they have objectiontoo. This might be just the case inthis situation. If these people arelike you say they are then I am surethat they know what their girlswere wearing, and it’s notsomething they should wear tofamily parties. But maybe theparents in question have no controlover their girls and they don’t listento what the parents say. You shouldbe glad that you have raised yourchildren well and stop worryingabout other people and theirchildren.
Dear SOS (Sabrina Offers Support)
Pay extra-close attention to any suddenrealizations, instantaneously enlighteningobservations, or otherwise unexpected ideasabruptly jolting your consciousness awake,Aries. Though you're generally on apractical-minded energetic downshift, that
doesn't mean there isn't one more brilliant flash of spontaneouswisdom likely to cross your path during the week ahead. Butwhile I encourage you to milk any present-momentinsightfulness for as much juice as you can squeeze out, this newbit of data is not an invitation to just-as-suddenly switch up thewhole game-plan in the very midst of trying to carry it out.
Taurus, as the dynamic duo of Mars-and-Venus-in-your-1st continue to encourage yourself-asserted progress. You're also still onwarning against unexpected verbal explosions, whether they erupt spontaneously from yourunsuspecting lips or are instead directed towardyou from someone out in left-field. If you havesomething important to say, I recommend youhold off on it until mid-next-week (after
Mercury's in your sign and your ruler Venus haspassed its exact Saturn opposition). And let me add that evenbeing in the same place as the person you'd like to say somethingto, though you may intend to politely hold your tongue.
At this point, Gemini, it probably doesn'tserve you to bother striving for a safe, diplomatic, or overly amenable pose. Thosedubious allies or shit-talking frenemies whodon't already enjoy a certain affection ornatural affinity for your true demeanor arehighly unlikely to change their instinctiveindifference or antagonism towards you, just because you've gone out of your way tooffer them some conciliatory or coddlingremark. Why concern yourself with whether
they've selected you to be on their team, or are indirectly icingyou out? You ought to be doing the choosing, exercising moreSaturn-in-the-7th discernment with regards to whichrelationships deserve your energy-investment…
Public authenticity, no matter how nerve-wracking your lack of control over others'responses to your honest testimony may be,is your most personally gainful approach toadopt, Cancer. I wish I could reassure youthat the corresponding sense of threat tocertain friendships or affiliations you'll
likely feel, as a result of daring to speak out, is merely aphantom fear… but, alas, there may be something valid to it.
Leo, it's a good moment for remindingyourself how this year is astrologically pre-ordained to be a big one for you lion-heartedsouls. What has happened in your life sincelast July (when Jupiter first arrived in Leo)?Have you become better able to glimpsebeyond whatever limitations previouslyinhibited your vision, now seeing greaterpossibilities where before you might've felt
stuck? Have you let something go, tried something new,and/or stretched into unfamiliar territory? Jupiter's presencemakes this a much more auspicious climate in which tointentionally invest such progressive efforts, but it won't forcewonderful developments to unfold without you asserting yourinitiative.
Virgo, it's better not to 'settle back down' into
whatever ultimately-restraining reality may
feel secure simply because it's familiar. You
ought to be looking unapologetically ahead,
to a future which could likely feature some
qualities quite distinct from what you've
come to expect… if, of course, you're
willing to remain on the edge of your seat a while longer.
If one or the other of you isn't as gung-hoabout sharing an intimate future together, youneed to know that, too… to allow everyonethe same fair shake in visualizing anachievable reality for themselves, minus anyillusions kept alive by a refusal to just betruthful with one's intentions. No matterwhich way it's headed, this unfolding process
likely still has a few complications up its sleeve. Regardless, though, you both deserve the relative peace-of-mind whichcomes from clearly seeing what's in the other's heart, even ifit's not what you'd hoped.
Don't be afraid to tell a stinging truth abouthow some existing work-process may be adiscouraging drag on your day-to-dayeffectiveness, Scorpio. Though certaindelicate egos could get rubbed wrong byyour feedback, your job is not to mindlesslyrepeat inefficient tasks ad infinitum (or atleast I hope it's not). If you'd like to expandthe organization's reach, your role within it,
and/or its overall capacity to produce, you must be willing toendure a few bumpy moments of interpersonal friction in defenseof a methodological innovation, resource reallocation, and/orchange in habit you believe will increase the efficiency. or
It's time to integrate the two divergent threadsof advice I've recently offered you here,Sagittarius. On the one hand, with Marssticking around your solar 6th for anotherseveral weeks, this is one of your best periodsall year for hanging in with your day-to-daywork. Even if you've already seen tremendousprogress and/or brought some project to aserviceable resolution, it still behooves you to
keep a consistent rhythm… if for no other reason than tocounteract your tendency toward a more erratic surge-followed-by-burnout pattern.
In order for you to continue to positively growand evolve in how you relate with others,Aquarius, you must be willing to more directlycommunicate what's true for you in a givenmoment… even while not knowing exactly wherethe conversation's liable to go next, or even whereyou want it to go, other than somewhere frankand/or revelatory.Thinking of your stance in thatmanner is a distancing technique, making it
harder to actually discuss anything with anyone because itimplies you already believe you're right. Forget about who's'right'. Accept that you're coming at this from a very subjectivelyhuman (though, therefore, no less valid) angle.
With that proper combination of ongoingdiscussion and action you've hopefullycreated in recent weeks, Pisces, you nowought to be ready to surge forward withyour work based upon this week's emergingepiphanies about how to put what you'vegot to its most effective use. As long asyou're able to skillfully set any personal
insecurities aside from your business-minded analysis(because nothing gets in the way of aligning with one'sinstincts more obtrusively than fear or self-doubt), you shouldhave an increasingly clear understanding of your best next-steps… and the winning answers are probably pretty simple tograsp, on the concept-level, even if they'll demand some hardwork to enact. Don't second-guess this simplicity.

This is probably the right week for you todefinitively release any leftover remnants ofannoyance, outrage, or upset, Capricorn…but with enough careful precision that you doso in a relatively discreet context, protectedfrom those who might misperceive yourunderstandable venting as a battle-cry. Iwouldn't ignore that inner emotional itch, as
if pretending not to notice this certain unsettledness issufficient for neutralizing its charge. Otherwise, it'll forceits way out at a less opportune moment—perhaps onethat's supposed to be 'fun', but which ends up taking a darkturn once you've downed a couple drinks and/or gotten socomfortable that your guard comes down and thebitterness come out.

Salman may have taken a sigh ofrelief in the recent past, after his driver'sowning the responsibility pertaining tothe hit-and-run case. But it looks like formisfortune he is its one of the mostadorable child.
If recent reports pertaining toSalman's latest rendezvous with bad luckare to be believed then they suggest thata fresh legal trouble is waiting for thisDabangg of Bollywood.
And this time it's because of acommon man from Mumbai on whosecomplaint a local court has directed copsto file a complaint against Salman.
As per reports, in his complaintsome Ravinder Dwivedi has alleged thatin November 2014, he was to board a
flight when Salman and one of hisbodyguard started abusing him andassaulting him.
He further alleged that, Salman'sbodyguard even snatched some of the thecase documents pertaining to deceasedBJP leader Gopinath Munde from hispossession.
Dwivedi also revealed that in orderto register the case he approached airport
police, but they too gave a deaf ear to hiscomplaint.
Now if recent buzz is to be believedthen one of the Mumbai courts hasconsidered the complainants' concern, and has directed the Airport policestation to register the case underSections 392 (robbery), 323 (voluntarilycausing hurt), 504 (intentional insultwith intent to provoke breach of the
peace), 506 (2) and 34 (acts done byseveral persons in furtherance ofcommon intention) of the Indian PenalCode.
Now after seeing this recenthappening we are feeling to compelled tosay that, "Salman may try to stay awayfrom controversies, but controversy is inno mood of leaving him".

Americans spend over $1.4 billiondollars in over-the-counter teethwhitening products every year! That’s awhole lot of whitening (and spending)going on. Almost everyone wishes theyhad whiter teeth. While there are avariety of options available, most peopledon’t think about natural methods. Brittais sharing one with us that I think isdefinitely worth a try!
Did you know that two powerhousecleaning ingredients, that you probablyalready have on hand, can be used as anatural whitening solution for yourteeth?
Teeth Whitening SolutionBaking soda’s gentle abrasiveness

The oxidizing action of hydrogenperoxide allows it to get into all thenooks and crannies ofyour mouth to fightbacterial buildup.Using hydrogenperoxide for oralhealth has also beenshown to protectagainst gingivitis, orin f l amed/bleed inggums (source). Teeth Whitening SolutionHere, the addition of a little Peppermintessential oil provides a minty fresh cleanfeeling, and also helps to control badbreath!

I’ll admit I was more than a littleapprehensive to try out this method. Theidea of putting hydrogen peroxideanywhere near my mouth was not veryattractive! But I decided I would be a biggirl and give it a shot, in the name ofscience. And wouldn’t you know it, I wasvery pleasantly surprised!! Using thismixture by no means tastes great, but it’sreally not that bad, especially with theaddition of the Peppermint oil. And afterI rinsed, my whole mouth felt and lookedSO clean! I can’t speak to the long-termwhitening effects (yet!), but I’ll definitelybe incorporating this treatment into myoral care routine.

Save your receipts when you find a great deal onsomething. It’s an easy way to keep track of the best deals soyou know when to stock up.
Always read the fine print on sale posters! Most of thetime sale prices apply to certain package sizes. You mightaccidentally grab the wrong size and end up paying full price.
Don’t let specials fool you into buying more than youneed. Studies have found that people buy 30%-100% morethan on sales like “5 for $10″ than they would have otherwise.
Always ask for discounts on dented cans. You might notalways get a discount but it doesn’t hurt to ask.
If you see an advertised 10 for $10 promotion make surethe original price of the item isn’t less than $1.
Products displayed on end caps are not usually on sale. Those spots are sold to companies trying to promote certainitems.
Not everything shown in the weekly ad is on sale! Alwaysread the fine print so you don’t end up buying something justbecause you thought it was on sale.
Most sales start on Wednesdays. That is also the time thatmany stores reduce prices on food that is about to expire.
Keep an eye out for grocery store clearance sections.Marked down times are not necessarily about to expire – thestore may just be discontinuing that item.
If you want to stock up on a sale item ask your grocerystore if they will place a special order to arrive during the saleso you don’t clear the shelf for other customers.
Always ask store managers if you have to buy as manyproducts as a deal advertises in order to get the sale price. Forexample, if you see a 10 for $10 sale you may not have to buy10 items to get the sale price.

By Jillee from California Not all clothes can handle the dryer,
but in the jumbled up mess of thelaundry, those sneaky clothes somehowmanage to make it in there anyway. I hada sweater once (that fit), and could nownicely fit into the wardrobe of mydaughter’s American Girl doll, Gabby.Oops! Lessoned learned — don’t buyclothes that can’t handle my laundryskills. Hey, but did you know there is aneasy way to “unshrink” them?! It doesn’trequire going out and buying somespecial product, either.
Here’s the HOW-TO:Fill a sink
with lukewarmwater and adda capful of babyshampoo intothe water.(Many tutorialsI read said tou s e
CONDITIONER…but this made moresense to me…so this is what I used.)
Let the item soak in the babyshampoo water and gently work itthrough. This will relax the fibers in the
clothing.Remove the
garment from theshampoo waterand gentlysqueeze it out. DoNOT rinse it.
Take a largetowel and lay the clothing flat on it.
Roll thetowel up with theclothing inside it.
Your goal isto absorb theextra moisture, soyour clothing isdamp but not wet.
Then, getanother dry toweland put the pieceof clothing out onthe dry towel.
Gently stretchthe clothing itemas it lays out to dry.
C o n t i n u eto do this untilthe clothingitem returns toits original size.Allow the itemto air dry on thetowel.
Being theimpatient person that I am, I set up a fanto make the drying time go faster andwithin about an hour or so they were dry!(Of course the fact that we practicallylive in the Sahara Desert didn’t hurt
either.)T h e
a n t i c i p a t i o nwas killing meso Ii m m e d i a t e l ytried them on.(I guess I hadsome irrational
fear that the stretching I did was anillusion?)
When Ipulled them onand they wereback to theexact samelength they werewhen I boughtthem…I wasb e y o n dthrilled!!! (See picture at top.)
My “comfy pants” were back! Now I can’t help thinking about all
the clothes that got thrown away in thepast because I did not know this trick!(There I go…”overthinking” again! lol)
So do everyone you know afavor…and spread the word before moreinnocent items of clothing meet apremature demise!

HOW TO HEAL ACOLD SORE NATURALLY
Baking Soda
Baking soda is a great choice fortreating cold sores because it dries outthe sore while also pulling away anyacids that might be irritating the area.Simply add a few drops of water to asmall amount of baking soda to form apaste. Dab the paste on the affected area, and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. After that, rinse it off. Repeat this procedure once ortwice a day until the cold sore is gone.
Remember, at the end of the day,you are dealing with something that willheal with time. Be patient, and keep thearea clean. Even doing just that willensure that the sore area heals withoutany problems.
Contact your physician if youdevelop a fever, if your cold sores lastlonger than two weeks despitetreatment, or if cold sores recurfrequently during the course of a year.
