Make free 30 second movies. $5 a month for 10 min. movies. App is free. 5. Pic Stitch Create collages. Share on Social media. Free App for iPod and iPad. 6. Voicethread Digital storytelling. Great for speaking and writing. App for iPhone, iPod, and iPad. Free but can pay $15 a month for more students to use. 7. SkitchEdit photos. App for iPod and iPad. Free 8. Audioboo Record from your computer, iPad, iPhone, or iPod. Great for reading. Share your students' progress through Twitter. Free 9. SphereTake your classroom around the world! App for iPod or iPad. Free 10. Quizlet Create and download flashcards. Study and play games. App for iPod and iPhone. Free but can upgrade for $15 a year. 11. Educreations Teachers or students can write and record themselves. App for iPad. Free 12. Glogster "Digital Poster Boards" Introduce vocabulary words. Link pictures to videos and websites. Three plans: Free, $39 a year for elementary, and $95 a year for secondary. 13. PhotosynthTake panorama photos. Free App for iPod. 14. Popplet Digital graphic organizer. Tool for pre- writing. Add pictures to the web. Free on computer, but can pay for students' accounts. App is $4.99. 15. Edmodo Educational social networking site. Safe and private from others.
