1introduction
Jones & Woolman (U.K.) Limited is at the leading edge of claddingpenetrations and weathering systems for the construction industry. Theflexibility of our unique system gives benefits over traditional weatheringsystems and are achievable on site at the installation stage. Ourweathering system accommodates all types of cladding.
The specially developed weathering systems have been successfullytested using accelerated weathering tests, ie heat ageing, water immersion,freeze/thaw cycling and uv light cycling by British Steel (now Corus) inrelation to long term adhesion, ageing and weather-scaling performance.
The company carries out all its own installations in order to keep a tightcontrol over site procedures. Site application difficulties have beenovercome by development of surface preparation agents and additivesfor adjusting the curing properties according to ambient conditions.
Our systems allow the hole to be cut wherever the opening is requiredand the soaker is made to fit, regardless of the positions of crowns andtroughs or profile shape. The roofing contractor does not need to takeinto account obstructions and can order soakers without detailed surveysor measurements. Penetrations weathered within 300mm of opening, norequirement to flash back to the ridge.

the floor or to the roof pitch■ Fit internal liners if required■ Weather the roof and curb, including
drainage and water deflection■ Fit input unit (window, fan, hatch etc) if
required.
The roof cladding can be completed sothat it is weathertight, we then form theopening and complete the weathering at amore convenient time.
Our systems are designed to allow themounting and fixing of ancillary equipment byus or others.
Allows for last minute positional changes.
There is no restriction in size, shape or positionrelative to the roof profile.
We can advise on the need for additionalstructural trimmers, these are oftenunnecessary.
Internal finishes are aesthetically pleasing.Using data from composite sheetmanufacturers we can determine by calculationif additional structural trimmers are required.

A significant area of our work involves in-situweathering. Our systems are virtuallymaintenance free and carry our full warrantyup to a period of 25 years. Cost effectivesolutions to difficult details.

We also design and fit valley gutters, rakingand hips.

Jones & Woolman (UK) Ltd can supply and fit awide range of roof units or we can make & fitload bearing curbs to suit customers units.
We have a unique installation system for Veluxand similar windows such that this type of unitcan be installed in all types of roofs includinglow pitch roofs.

Our unique inclined load bearing curbsystem allows Velux and similar windows tobe installed in all types of low pitch roofs. Thistype of window normally requires a roof pitchof at least 15 deg.

We have successfully completed theweathering of a large number of stadia wherecolumns, supports, ties, struts etc penetratevarious cladding including composite, singleskin, in plane grp rooflight areas, both roof andvertical walls.
Amongst our sites are: Manchester United,Charlton Athletic, Swansea City, West HamUnited, Bradford City, Walsall F.C., and DundalkGreyhound Stadium.

We have developed systems for individual andmultiple penetrations thro’ various claddingsystems. The images show our installation at amedical facility in London.
The system was fully pressure tested. Theimages show multiple and single weatheredpenetrations during testing at Windtech inTelford.

GRP lends it self well to the forming ofcomplex shapes and curves often unachievablein PPC steel or aluminium. We can offertechnical advice to ensure an aestheticallypleasing and economical solution. The imagesshow a small selection of completed contracts.
