TTC’s Division of Continuing Education and Economic Development offers approved training under the Post 9/11 GI Bill, including: A+ and Network+ Certification Major computer hardware and software vendors, distributors, resellers and publications back this type of program that certifies the competency of computer service technicians. Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM ® ) Designed for entry-level to senior members of a project team who contribute specialized skills such as scheduling, logistics, cost estimating or other project work and are interested in certification. Courses include: Successful Project Management (18 Hours); Project Management Standards (18 Hours); and CAPM® Exam Prep Course (40 Hours). Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) CNAs monitor and record vital signs and perform personal care skills; assist with meals; transfers; linen changes; room organization; and safety issues following facility policies. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Learn the fundamentals of building a network and operating system, Ethernet basics, protocols, as well as remote connectivity, interconnectivity among networks, protecting your network, support and more. Emergency Medical Technician Receive training in how to provide emergency care to the critically injured at an emergency scene and/or en route to a medical facility and determine pre-existing medical problems. Project Management Professional (PMP ® ) Exam Preparation This program prepares project managers with three or more years of experience who want to increase their skills and apply a standards-based approach to project management. Courses include: Successful Project Management (18 Hours); Project Management Standards (18 Hours); PMP® Exam Preparation Course (40 Hours). The Post-9/11 GI Bill provides financial support for education and housing to individuals with at least 90 days of aggregate service after Sept. 10, 2001 or individuals discharged with a service-connected disability after 30 days.You must have received an honorable discharge to be eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill.
