SITE PLAN AND APPEARANCE REVIEW COMMITTEE (SPAARC)MINUTES

October 22, 2014

Members Present: S. Berg, I. Eckersberg, J. Ferrera, M. Klotz, M. Muenzer, J. Nelson,M. Tristan, L. Pearson

Staff Present: D. Latinovic , B. Newman, C. Ruiz

Presiding Member: M. Muenzer

A quorum being present, Chair Muenzer called the meeting to order at 2:35 p.m.

New Business:

1) 1409 Dodge Avenue Preliminary & Final Review Interior and exterior remodeling and a second floor addition to convert an automobilerepair shop into a 2-unit residence

AND

2) 1825 Greenwood Street Preliminary & Final Review Interior and exterior remodeling and a two-story addition to a single-family residence

GENERAL DISCUSSION:Chair Muenzer explained the process to the applicant. Details of the application were

discussed: 1825 Greenwood:

o Revision: garage moved forward on property and will exit to Greenwood St. 1409 Dodge:

o Revision: cars will exit to alley Mr. Berg said the plans have been approved by the Building Division Each dwelling will have its own water service; separate permit from building permit Materials:

o Siding on both structures (will cover existing concrete block on town homes)o Windows: aluminum clad, simulated divided light

Ms. Pearson moved to approve the preliminary and final plans on the conditionthat the columns on the 1409 Dodge property are wood or composite, secondedby Mr. Berg.

The Committee voted unanimously 8-0 to approve the preliminary and final plans.
