The children’s ministry... because the children learn at a very early age who is God,

Jesus & Holy Spirit. They make friends in Cornerstone and learn stuff that my wife and

I cannot teach them. It also allows me to attend a much needed church service without

having to be distracted by the little ones.

The ministry of preaching... because it quickens my spirit to love God. It increases my faith and helps me to know God’s voice

and serve him better.

The ministry of sound/AV/powerpoint... because without you we would not be able to

worship and to hear the messages that change our lives. You help facilitate the

presence of the Spirit.

The ministry of Pastor Steve... because God used him to speak humbly and frankly about a lot of difficult topics. I appreciate the little memory devices or images that I can use as clues to remember points, such as “buckets” and “morsels”. Thank you for being used by

our Lord to help me mature in my walk.

The ministry of StarKids & YouthQuest... because they helped me establish a strong relationship with God at a young age. They

got me involved with serving others and helping people. I became closer with other

kids through fun lessons and later on at Friday nights. Thank you to all the

coordinators, teachers and volunteers!

The ministry of my wife... because she has shown me through example how to be a

better parent, partner and example of God’s love to those around me.

young. As they are just like a sponge, absorbing God words every time they come to

many ways through celebrations and challenges. You are a cornerstone in our

hearts as we face each step always grateful for your love, friendship, prayers and

support.

The ministry of Everyone – I notice all of it - made a difference in my life— the band, the

singers, the food people, the greeting people, the truck drivers, the teachers and assistants, the youth leaders, the Wed. night basketball

people. The people who put away chairs, preach, make announcements, pack up the

children’s ministry carts, those who organize food for the poor…

The Youth Ministry... because it has given my daughter a chance to know God, and meet

other children who are from God-loving families.

The ministry of the Worship Band... because music is very personal and reaches right into

my soul. The passion, love and grace they pour out every week is uplifting and spirit

filled. It speaks directly to the heart in ways that words cannot.

The Youth Ministry... because it made me more active with the church, allowed me to serve others and connect with the church

more. Thank you Pastor Kevin, for believing in the youth so much. Thank you Grace for always helping out and for everything else

you’ve done.

The ministry of the sound guys... because the sound system is working very well – not too loud, to too soft, just right and clear – thanks! I know it takes a lot of attention to

details.

give my kids a place to be and belong. You bring/usher me into the presence of God. I meet Him! Thank you for a heart-warming

welcome to start our new lives in a new church. We met all the pastors in one week!

The ministry of StarKids... because they have taught my 2 girls (Grade 2 & Toddler

class) a personal relationship with God, knowing what is right and wrong, Bible

stories, and coming home sharing the Bible verses. It also allows us to attend service

knowing our kids are in good hands.

The ministry of Junior High Youth... because of God’s messages you have brought to my teenage girl. These seeds planted are bearing fruit in shaping her perspective and

attitude towards life to be godly and holy. Thanks for your tireless efforts and exceeding

patience.

The newcomers ministry... because this was the only church that we visited where people

noticed we were new and ensured that we were greeted and introduced around. After

our first week, we decided to make Cornerstone our home church.

All the children’s ministry volunteers... because we have been able to worship

downstairs and our kids have also been able to learn and grow in the knowledge and

tables allows us to focus on God, and listen/review the sermons. The way you run

things so we are not distracted is a blessing.

through their music. The choice of songs, the words shared and the enthusiasm they show helps to get my head and heart in the right

place. I can feel God’s presence through them.

The ministry of Starkids – Emily, MJ and other teachers... because my kids come

back home and ask questions raised because of things learned during their worship time with StarKids. It encourages and allows me

to dig deeper with them spiritually during the week. We do daily devotions together now--

good basics to remind me of what I know and to encourage us to live out God’s truths as a

family.

and word of God to our kids. Thank you!

ensures Sunday service can take place. Without your service, which can seem

thankless and unappreciated, the worship service would not be what it is. Thank you!

to seek to grow in their faith.

connect on a deeper level with many other families at Cornerstone and has helped us

grow in our spiritual relationships.

The ministry of Ron & Anastasia made a BIG difference in my life because when we

were heartbroken with our son’s diagnosis & wondering if he would be able to settle in a

Sunday school class these two precious people stepped in. They took it personally to be always there for Mark. We looked forward to coming every Sunday to church & we tell Mark that he will see Uncle Ron. We will and

could NEVER forget these two people.
