International Union Against CancerThe International Union Against Cancer, with funds
provided by the American Cancer Society, will awardEleanor Roosevelt fellowships for cancer research to
experienced investigators who wish to broaden their
experience by a period of study at a single institution inanother country. The fellowships are for a 12-month
period from March 1, 1974. Application forms (whichmust be returned by Sept. 1) and further details may behad from the International Union Against Cancer, P.O.Box 400, 1211 Geneva 2, Switzerland.
Royal Photographic Society of Great BritainThe Society’s medical group has awarded The Lancet
trophy for 1972 to Mr R. M. Callender, of UnileverResearch, Isleworth Laboratories, for his illustrations of thecapillary structure of human gingiva.!
