REQUIREMENTS cumulative 3.0 GPA; students who are
slightly below 3.0 may be considered non-native English-speaking students
must have taken the TOEFL exam with a minimum score of 600, or minimum score of 500 if through the English Language Institute
successful completion of course pre-requisites

Study abroad programs are designed for sophomore-, junior-, or senior-level under-graduate students. Admission to the program is selective. All applicants for the
program will be judged on their academic performance, reasons for wishing to attend the program, flexibility and sensitivity to other cultures, and ability to adjust to a new cultural setting.

PROGRAM COST
Cost includes host institution fees, housing, health insurance, meals, UHM Study Abroad and student visa fees, textbooks, and ground transportation. NOT included are roundtrip airfare and personal spending money. Students have the option to take flights arranged by the UHM Study Abroad Center or book their own travel itinerary.
