Bikes on Buses invites you to ride to St Francis, KS on Friday, June 3rd, 2016 in a chartered Crossroads Line bus. This is an economical and fun opportunity for you and your bike to be transported to BAK’s Friday night’s sleeping site.

DATE: Friday, June 3th 2016

DEPARTURE: Christa McAuliffe Elementary School, 15600 W 83rd St. Lenexa, KS 66219. Report time will be 6:00 AM to start loading and the buses will depart at 7:00 AM with quick stops in Lawrence, Topeka, Manhattan and Salina. LIMITED NUMBERS: We suggest you REGISTER EARLY. Two buses have been reserved for this year’s trip and once again the bus will be on a first come-first serve basis. The bus takes reservations on a cash or check basis. NO RESERVATIONS ARE TAKEN WITHOUT PAYMENT. By Friday, May 20, 2016, if we do not have the minimum riders for the second bus, it will be cancelled. Please register early as we do not want to cancel buses and leave someone behind.

FEE: Total cost of the trip is $ 200.00. This fee is separate from your BAK registration.

CONFIRMATION: Email confirmation will be sent out when the minimum number of riders for each bus has been met.

ROUTE: We will leave Lenexa (KC) Friday morning, picking up riders in Lawrence, Topeka, Manhattan and Salina.

RETURN TRIP: We will be returning only ONE bus from Elwood, KS to the Lenexa (KC) starting point. We will not be taking a bus back to Lawrence, Topeka or Manhattan. The fee for this trip is $50.00.

CANCELLATION POLICY: If we must cancel transportation arrangements due to not meeting the minimum of 40 riders per bus, your fee will be returned minus $5 for registration fee. IF YOU MUST CANCEL, THERE WILL BE NO REFUND until the minimum of 40 riders has been met. NO REFUNDS DUE TO CANCELLATIONS MADE AFTER MAY 20TH.

BIKES: The bus will assume no liability for damage to any bike or to your personal belongings. Bikes are transported separately in moving vans. Pedals must be removed. Bikes may be packed in cardboard boxes, but we will need to dispose of the boxes in St. Francis. No hard shell cases…there is no place to store them. We will wrap each bike separately for their protection.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY: You will be asked to sign a release of liability prior to the beginning of the trip. In consideration of my participation in the bus trip sponsored by Bikes on Buses and BAK, I hereby release and hold harmless said organizers from any and all claims for personal or property damage sustained by me during such participation and agree to indemnify such organizations and /or its organizers for any expense or loss they may incur by reason of any such claim I may make.
