Profile
ASPIRATION TO ACHIEVE, VISION TO TRANSFORM AND PASSION TO EMPOWER……….
A humble beginning from a teacher’s family, I started a
school, St. Britto’s Academy, adopting innovative techniques,
to enlighten the heart, mind and soul of the students.
Through efficient mentorship and administrative skills,
progressed to developing group of schools and college,
transforming 10,000 and more Children and Youth, emerged
as an Entrepreneur to become the Director of Kerry Indev Logistics, Managing
Director of Esthell Hotel & Resorts and Co-founder and Investor of Premier Futsal,
formulating a new concept in Sport to promote Indian Sports to an International
Level
I also have founded an NGO- SEEK FOUNDATION, through which I involve myself in
activities focused on Child Development and Women Empowerment. SEEK
Foundation has adopted 25 and more villages touching 20000 families by providing
continuous Medical needs – Camps and Health centers and Educational needs-
School bag with Stationaries, Hygiene kit, Facilities, Infrastructure and Tuition
centers , Social and Economic Empowerment Projects-Tailoring units, driving
schools, Integrated Agri projects, Solid Block units to foster Economic upliftment
and Societal Transformation.
I am an ambitious, goal- oriented and self- directed person. My ambition is always to
be unique, innovative and try to inspire the young minds.
I have visited many of the best educational institutions in the world to identify
modern global techniques to enhance the curriculum and the methodology of the
teaching-learning process and adapt it to the Indian Context progressively, thus
endeavoring to make St. Britto’s students and the Institution unique and exemplary
in all respects.I go the extra mile to provide life skills and psychological support to
all the Students and Staff to understand themselves, who they are, what are their
own strengths and weaknesses and counsel them to build on their strengths and
3
overcome weakness. I love spending my time with students motivating them on how
to utilize time effectively, how to develop organizational and study skills thus
enabling them to become self-confident learners helping them identify the barriers
and facilitating development. I have a vision to create a community of teachers and
learners who will contribute to its transformation by their positive influence. My
signature statement is Aim high –Be truthful to yourself-Complete your
commitments”
In order to achieve my ambition of being unique and innovative in the field of
education, I have placed a lot of system and facilities in place that have proved to be
both creative and innovative. This has led to the path of providing the best to the
students. My focus has directed me to spend huge amount of resource, time and
energy to ensure that every child is transformed to be an excellent being.
As I started to implement the various systems of change and innovation, I began to
see the effects - the transformation of students: accepting themselves and beginning
to grow in all aspects with positive attitude- “Believe You Can.” It was then that I
realised that what is executed for 5000 children can be expanded to many more.
That is when I began to plan and implement competitions, activities and programs
for all other schools of Chennai, Kancheepuram and Thiruvallur district and colleges
of Chennai, Madurai, Trichy, Coimbatore, “Believe You can” in Intellectual, Cultural
and in the field of Sports reaching out to more than 20,000 students over the past 7
years. Now for the past five years, I am implementing this programme in all the 25
adopted villages to identify, nurture and help the talented students and youth who
endeavour to excel. I have also adopted few Para- Olympians and have supported
them by funding, as well as employment with me and helping them to achieve
success in National level Competitions continuously. I empower the following
organizations…
Director, Kerry Indev Logistics, a Global Logistic Company
Correspondent and Secretary, St. Britto’s Group of Schools & College
Managing Director, Esthell Hotels & Resorts
Director, Esthell Homes
Co-Founder / Investor, Premier Futsal - International Sport
Founder, Seek Foundation - NGO

Education is not a triangle anymore, involving just Students, School and the Parents
as it was two decades earlier. It is an ever-growing bigger and new-fangled network
of People, Process, Product, Principle leading to Progress of an Individual, Group,
society, Nation and the Universe at large.
The British System of Education, emanated to replace the Gurukul system of Indian
Education, which was mainly dependent on rote memory to transfer knowledge
from the teacher to the learner. During Pre Independence, the Education offered by
the colonists was only to make the People of India to be of service to help perform
the duties in their office. It did not make or give scope for people to think. DURING
Post-Independence, Indian System of Education has transformed in multi-fold
dimensions, but owing to the major diversities of states, language, culture and
topography, the innovations and improvisations take a longer time in reaching the
beneficiaries and at certain times fail to adapt to the needs of the child, or the needs
of job market, or to the changes in Technology for the welfare of students who are
the future generation, on whose shoulders lie the huge responsibility of building the
Nation in par with the developed countries.
This delay in access to quality education, the lacuna in adapting to new trends, new
technologies makes the entire community to lean towards one Job preference due to
lack of awareness, the fear of unknown, brain drain and so on.
And moreover, the Indian system of Education
segregates children on the only basis of Marks attained
in theoretical exam at the end of the Academic year
testing mainly the ability to remember, recall and
rewrite the contents printed in their text book of study.
Hence, there exists a massive gap in tapping the talent
of individual children, nurturing their innate strength
and expanding the horizons of growth and
development.
6
Education or Literacy?
It was announced recently by an IIM survey that 20% of the literates in India
(who have passed 10th board) do not know to read.
Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) and the Bar Council Exam are reminders that
the quality of education has deteriorated to a great extent.
Mr. Barack Obama during his address to university students encouraged
American students to study Science and Mathematics as Indians do.
The core issue is the need for a paradigm shift from rigid one-dimensional academic
syllabus, driven by narrow evaluation of students based on limited hour’s-memory
focused examination and consequent rankings to clear understanding of the logic
and concept of what is learnt by using examples, relating and learning and
proceeding from known to unknown.
Though Academics has been the major concern for many of the students and the
parents, I strongly believe that achievement in other areas like co-curricular,
extracurricular activities boost the morale of the student and this can easily be
transferred to success in academics. With so many technological advancements,
mushrooming tuition centers, Home tuitions etc., school is not the only mode of
study for any student.
Teaching what is in the text book does not need a teacher. Teaching what is in the
textbook will make the students and parents to be Mark – oriented rather than skill/
aptitude oriented. Teachers should be able to facilitate, supplement and implement
productive learning environment to aid individual development.
If we focus on the goals of Education after 15 years of schooling for a child what will
we accomplish?
A record purpose - literate society?
Trained and coached unimaginative and non-innovative generation?
A majority who do not ask why and how- to understand concepts thus not
able to cope with higher studies?
Young generation who feel insecure about their future?
7
Children who become selfish devoid of
understanding others, not being able to
belong and contribute to a team?
Students who cannot cope with
stress/failure in academics?
Staff who educate to grow in
Accountability and responsibility for the
development or success/failure of the
child?
Parents who contribute their resources of time and talent rather than mere
money for their child’s growth?
Answer to all the questions lies in the
approach we initiate to facilitate children
to face life confidently under all
circumstances which can be infused into
them by way we create learning
experiences, designed with specific
purpose of identifying and developing
individuals in their area of expertise.
Hence school should be a place where the
student’s ability and skills are identified,
nurtured and developed to help attain
their fullest potential.
Child -Centric Education provided to give
a holistic development to the student is
what is needed for any child to advance to
become transformers of the Nation.
This is what Education should aim at.
8
By Education, I reiterate,
1. Values, Attitudes and Behavior-
Inclusiveness, Respect, Dignity of
Labor and Humanity and Empathy
2. Knowledge - Depth of Knowledge
about a specific subject which a
child has acumen naturally and/or
developed interest in and gradually
progressing in deepening and
widening approaches.
Curricular – Subject Clubs,
Co-curricular-, Creative Writing, Debating
3. Skill – Skill to put the knowledge that is attained by learning into practice to
become productive.
4. Talent Development
Extra- Curricular -Music, Art, Dance, Theatre Art, Sports , Martial Arts and Fitness
The Beauty of being a Student of St. Britto’s..
HOW I STARTED TO DO – from the Heart ….
1. Values, Attitudes and Behavior-
Inclusiveness, Respect
Dignity of Labor and Humanity
Empathy
The beginning – The school when started in 1997 had 8 students on the roll.
Gradually when we began to grow and we started giving admissions, without any
interview for the child or the parent, but just with the observance of the child in the
natural play setting, only to feel the conformity and the child’s response to nature’s
call, in order to understand the support needed for the child/group of children.
Admission is not denied because they are first generation learners, (uneducated
parents), people speaking only regional language unlike most other schools which
9
grant admissions only when both the parents are educated. So it was a natural
process to open up to include students in lower classes, expelled from very
prominent and well established schools of Chennai.
I refer one particular case here- a child of age 7, a STD II child who was brought in
for admission after being expelled from two schools where he studied earlier. The
reason for expulsion being the child did not write anything for the test in the exam
paper and so has failed to qualify for promotion. Since promotion is mandatory till
STD V, as per Government norms, the schools were not willing to make him progress
to higher classes, considering the commitment and the drain of effort it will cause to
accommodate one child in comparison with 40, the school decided to send him out
rather.
As a young mother of a girl child of more or less the same age, I could not fathom
how a child will do it willfully- not write anything. The parents being well educated
blamed the child of being adamant and not wanting to write. While I examined him
personally, I became aware that he could not write. Having no experience of neither
running a school, nor knowing how to handle a child who cannot write, my only
thought was somehow I have to help the child. 20 years back, awareness on
Learning Disability and Teaching techniques for special children, trained staff, and
Inclusiveness strategy, Exceptions / Concessions / Provisions while writing
examinations were unheard of. I informed the parents and told them that I would
help the child. It was a slow and long process but the parents wanted immediate
results. The parent could not accept the fact that their child was unable to learn.
They withdrew the child only to bring back the following year asking me to help the
child to come up in life. The child was gradually taught to learn step by step and was
able to clear his STD X Board exams in parts. He progressed to study Commerce in
the prestigious Loyola College and is now running a very successful organization
that caters to special needs of children in association with Loyola College.
A similar incident – A girl child - Slow Learner who particularly lacked memory skills
needed to retain information and process it for understanding was gradually given
10
confidence from LKG to STD XII to speak her mind and express her thoughts and
with a help of a scribe younger to her, she was able to clear her board exams.
Another incident – a child with ADHD, completed his studies from Pre KG to Std XII,
who, not being aware of his surroundings, will wet even while in STD VIII- a child of
14 years. The painful trauma the mother of the child underwent, because of the
blame and the stigma attached by the other parents - the representatives of the
society, was gradually brought to inclusiveness by counseling the child, the parent
and other students and their parents.
How the change was brought into effect- Initially, I started to train individual
child, in alphabets, identification and formation through play cards, drawing,
activity, repeat the sounds, phonetics, syllabification for reading, repeated exposure
to alphabets and sight words, progressing from one, two, three, four letter word at
the age of 10 and then gradually to small sentences, and finally to a group of
sentences. For certain concepts, Words were put into boxes, formed flow charts, and
continuity of an answer depicted as photo memory for the child.
In-house training for Teachers: When I found progress, I trained the staff to use a
similar approach. As the Organization grew, many staff underwent training to
impart knowledge and make progress in assisted learning. Special Education
(1997) – Till now, Students who have learning disabilities like dyslexia ADHD are
identified by the special educators, i.e., many staff are trained specially for the
purpose by the school who provide support program for individuals who are
experiencing learning, within the campus/school hours in order to help bridge
the gap between seeing & reading,
Listening and Writing by adopting
multiple techniques to the child
progress.
These training are imparted as a solution
to a felt need according to the demands
of the situation, when many other
11
institutions will only want to push out the so -called problematic/ disabled/
different / socially excluded / first generation/ and many more categories. I firmly
believe that as Doctor is for a Patient, so is a Teacher for the students.
Alternate Assessments:
Students who face learning Disabilities are assessed using alternate techniques
– oral test, one word answers, extra time to read the questions, help from staff
to read the question, and alternate question paper adapted to the level of the
child. The achievements of students are appreciated in all fields and alternate
scores/marks are based on other areas of achievement. This method is used to
create a pressure-free learning atmosphere. Students can assess themselves
without feeling guilty about ‘wrong’ answers. The focus is on self –correction and
progress. The measurement of progress is between one test and the consequent
one. I also brought about a unique Assessment system, through which progress
of every student is periodically monitored, necessary aid and steps are taken to
orient the students and improve the performance.
It was a determined effort to help and accept children as they are by taking steps
one at a time consistently, all the while
Supporting the child,
Orienting the other students of the class to accept the nature in all,
Motivating and personally training the teachers who handle the students,
Explaining the need of the child to their parents- making them accept the
truth behind the development of the child,
Convincing all other parents of the class who were in a complaining mode that
we will ensure targeted development for their children without
compromising on quality, safety, comfort.
The support given to any child in the school without differentiating them but
making them feel included and respected was the first step towards giving them
attachment-a sense of belonging, which gradually started to boost their much
needed self -confidence and made them achieve through their strengths in other
areas and step by step transferred into their academic achievements.

An Alumni speaks …
Allen Vijay - Making us better person, how we are now, my
experience in this school is a beautiful one- when I joined this
school I never thought that I can sing a song , dance or play a music
I never thought that I could study well. Everything in all aspects
we become a better person .For example for all club activities
happened in this school like Maths club, Science Club, English Club,
Hindi Club. In this club activities we use to write a song , We use to
compose music and We use to sing a song ,So St. Britto’s gave us new identity like good
dancer , singer and a composer. So St. Britto’s makes us shine as a multi - talented
person.
Teachers speak………..
Every year we the higher secondary teachers strive hard for best results
in terms of high marks. At times we were not able to reach our goal.
During one particular time we asked our madam why can’t we give
admission for only the above average students like many other schools,
but what she told touched me a lot. She said, ‘If We Don’t Admit Them,
Then Who Will Educate them?”. Don’t think of the result put your
effort continuously they will surely come out in flying colors one day.
From that day onwards I used to give special attention for the slow learners.
Madam will never differentiate slow learners from other students. So
to benefit them our Madam has started special remedial classes in the
year 1999 itself. Other schools will identify such students and conduct
tuitions separately.. But our Madam even if it is a single student she
will see that every child gets special attention and coaching by
appointing a teacher for his/her betterment. She will teach us step by
step how to handle the children with extra care. Madam took us on
many trips including Singapore. First she will expose us to the schools of that country and we
will learn the best practices from those abroad schools and implement the same here for all
the students. This proves her passion and endeavor in improving the educational system in our
school. We have learnt from our Madam, education is not the only criteria to become a whole
person. It is the love, affection, discipline, humanity and obedience which will make a whole
person

INCULCATING THE VALUES OF DIGNITY OF LABOR, HUMANITY & EMPATHY BY
SPECIAL ASSEMBLIES & CELEBRATIONS
In India, People generally have an attitude to look down on certain professions or jobs
and more so recently on people belonging to other religion, cultures, language, and so
on. The very thought of respecting
people because of their profession,
wealth, fame, power, caste, creed,
language, religion should be broken
down. This trend that is presently
fast growing spreads negativity,
hatred, intolerance towards others
beliefs and practices. No human
being is greater than the other. It
should be instilled, that one person
must respect the other. At Britto’s
all the students and the staff address our support staff as AKKA (Sister) and ANNA
(Brother). Patriotism, Harmony, Peace, Forgiveness, Care and Share are some of the
values instilled through Assemblies. The students’ progress to serve the community
through the values learnt at school.
Integrated approach in Value Enrichment is followed
An academic year generally consists of 200 working days. Assemblies are planned
for 3 levels, KG, Primary, High School and Higher Secondary and each group get a
minimum of 100 days exposure to a general assembly, where Values, Personalities
and Days of importance are integrated into their subjects and Themes are devised
for the year accordingly. A year planner projects equal opportunities for all the
classes and hence in a year, a class gets to perform the assembly thrice in a year. I
especially see to it, that all the students have participated in their class assembly and
addressed the gathering.
By projecting them in groups, then in trio or dual, and finally as one person holding
the stage, the student overcome their stage fear.
A 20 minute or 40 minute session away from class should be a productive one for
the growth and development of the child in a holistic way. Few of the themes for
assembly to promote values are given here.
14

16
COMMUNITY HELPERS DAY
To give children the exposure about
various community helpers.
To teach the children to appreciate
and be grateful for the service of all
the helpers.
PRACTISING THE VALUES LEARNT IN REAL LIFE
Celebrations: Days of National significance like
Independence Day, Republic Day are celebrated with
patriotic fervor. Teachers' Day and Children's Day
are celebrated with joyous festivity. Festivals like
Christmas, Diwali and Pongal are celebrated on a
grand scale with a stellar line-up of programmes.
These celebrations help to inculcate unity in
diversity, discipline, integrity and Patriotism in the
students. The students also learn to serve the
community through service - oriented activities.
Pongal is one festival that unites all the students, by
preparing a massive cooking pot to serve delicious
sweet Pongal to all the 3000 and odd students. The
students’ help in the preparation, serving and
related festivities like rangoli, pookolam, uri and
fun filled events brighten up the day.
Birthday Greetings – When Children celebrate
Birthdays, they are wished well with a Birthday
Card. This card is done by the students of the same
class during their art and craft classes. Thus
handcrafted unique creativity of the students is
given outlet. This also helps in bonding between
students.
17
Honesty Shop – Students contribute stationary & food items which are kept for sale.
Students pick up any item that they require and put the exact amount even in the
absence of the shop keeper. They learn to be honest, they understand to use
mathematics in daily life, cost price and sale price, accounting and budgeting,
lending and saving. This motivates the students to be honest regardless of
supervision leading to virtue of truthful self in any situation.
Busy Bee (2004)- Every week, Friday last period is allotted for cleaning the class
rooms, blackboard and updating notice board which initiates a sense of ownership,
cleanliness and awareness to surroundings and dignity of labor. This activity helps
the students to understand that they are responsible for the cleanliness of their own
surroundings. Recently, the Government also has supported the Swatch Bharat
campaign.
Busy Bee students of Junior class also help the KG children get adapted to school
easily. Earlier the settling down time for KG – 3 year old was more. But now with Bro
and Sis of STD II ,aged 7 waiting for the children at the gate, reassuring the parent,
supporting the children by carrying their bags and holding their hands while guiding
them to class, and playing along with them, giving them small gifts and so on…the
kids adapted so early and easily. This helps the older ones.,ie the STD II children to
develop leadership, responsibility, care, concern, empathy to a child who is
vulnerable and weaker than them. And the KG children pick up learning, language
thorough imitation, game and activity shedding their fears, inhibition and
dependency because they are motivated just by the presence of their buddies.
18
The VENTURE: (Virtue, Empathy, Nurture, Talent, Uniqueness, Reverence,
Excellence) is celebrated during the
children’s week. For the past 10
years various themes are
introduced to the students to
expand their exposure and promote
thinking. St. Britto’s inculcates
values, responsibility and concern
towards their family, school and society through activities and seminars conducted
by resource persons. Students and Teachers visit aided and government schools in
the city and the suburbs and orient the students on issues related to Health, Child
Abuse, Help lines and so on.
ECO CLUB
Encouraging the use of biodegradable products
and banning plastics in the campus and
reducing the waste generated in classrooms and
also converting the waste into manure for
plants. (2008)
To create a “clean and green consciousness”
among students through various innovative
methods.

land. Rain water harvesting. Emphasis on the concept of “No Plastic and
Polythene Materials” Herbal garden & Kitchen Garden Eco club rally Vermi - compost Street play- Swatch Bharath Painting and poster making competitions

19
2. Knowledge - Depth of Knowledge about a specific subject which a child has
acumen naturally and/or developed interest in and gradually progressing in
deepening and widening approaches.
Curricular – Subject Clubs,
Co-curricular-, Creative Writing, Debating
At Britto’s, students are taught through various approaches- Observatory learning,
Participatory learning, learning through discovery, through support in formal
methodology, enhanced competitive learning and process of evaluation leading to
acquisition of knowledge needed for later life and work in a deepening and widening
angle looking at the subject of study with foresight- in 10 years from now
perspective, questioning them/generating questions – what if, what more, what can
be, if not and so on making them think critically and creatively to constantly
progress at the pace in which the world is developing competitively with an aim to
make the students competent enough to adapt to on- going and never ending
changes in the development. More over Knowledge gained through education
should not only be from the text book and definitely not to be restricted to the exam
answer paper to secure marks. The knowledge acquisition process should extend
beyond marks and school and integrate with reality and life and transform self and
others. Educational process should create a change in an individual. Knowledge
through textbooks implies Respect for Nature, Empathy towards another human
being, Reverence to the Country and the technologies and techniques for survival
and progress in humanity through inventions and discoveries, graded according to
the level of understanding of the child, which we call as syllabus. Hence Education is
a continuous and a never ending process. Keeping this in mind, my focus to
transform children into knowledgeable students is crafted with care. During school
and college education, a child should be involved to contribute positively towards
the growth of the community. Hence subject enhancement activities are specific and
help the students discuss, plan, initiate and execute change through the knowledge
gained.
We certainly are not looking into the marks in the final examination as the only
criterion for assessing the intellectual capacity of the child.
20
Awareness Programs
Every Week a day is set apart to extend
the learning beyond the classroom.
Students observe Hiroshima Day,
remembering the victims of Hiroshima
and Nagasaki during the Second World
War, celebrate Environment Day by
planting saplings, mark Literacy day by Reading
books to the under privileged.
Days of importance including Colors’ week, Shapes,
Sizes and Quantity week & Nutrition week are
organized and celebrated for primary level students
to foster a sense of creativity, Fun of Learning &
Healthy life practices which expand the horizons of
knowledge within the child.
Clubs
Through Participatory learning which is
mandatory for the students, Intellectual and
Cognitive skills are developed by making sure that
the children involve, interact, understand and
overcome, not only in studies but in every walk of
their life. The school has formed English Club, Math
Club, Science Club, Social Science club, and Green
Club as a part of scholastic activities. Debates,
presentations, demonstrations and group
discussions are organized to help attain knowledge
through activities, overcome fear, gain confidence,
improve time management skills, develop
organizational and study skills, understand their unique profiles of strength and
weakness and become self-confident.

activities with students council ( Self Governing system) has been one of the successful
programme in our schools introduced from the first year onwards making students to

an interface among parents, students,
Teachers and management and take
care of the institutions on their own
which lead them to acquire
leadership qualities and self-
confidence. The leaders file their
nominations and address the students
assemble in an open forum and also
answer questions directed to them.

The system of identifying the
talents of the students thereby

2 hours are allotted to it where
within a particular class students split according to their interest and work on it for a
minimum of 3 years. This is introduced to students of class I till class VIII. This model of
introducing TALENT HUNT is a paradigm shift from a regular art/dance/music/craft/
which is normally generalized for all students without considering the interest of the
child. This Approach helps children fix to a hobby / an external healthy alternative

SCHOOL MUSIC BAND / MARCH BAND:
St. Britto’s group of institution has its own school music band. Students of the talent
hunt – music are trained to play different musical instruments such as keyboard, guitar,
violin, drums etc…. These trained students take up the stage during school assemblies
and many other special programs in playing variety of music.
48
Students are also encouraged to compose their own composition during ZEST – Inter
house cultural competitions.
A special group of students form the March band who are skilled in playing drums,
cymbal, and trumpet. They lead the march past during the Independence Day, Republic
Day, and sports Day.
In either case, participation can assist students in more than one way. They
actually complement the curricular activities and groom the students in the
“Art of living and working together.” They are the true and practical experiences
gained by students by their own learning experience.
These activities are integrated in St. Britto’s Curriculum and have been a great success
for the past 20 years. We have tailored graded syllabus across the classes for dance,
music, art, craft, theatre, cookery, karate, carom and chess in progressive manner.
All the Talent Hunt Programs are uploaded in the you tube and through face book. On
request many of our programs are aired live for the benefit of the parents who are
unable to attend the program. Many parents actively participate in all the in school
programs and at Britto’s we believe that all the development that we aim for the
children of our school should not have any restrictions for any of the stake holders-
Parents, Students and even the staff. Some of the parents lend a helping hand in
tailoring, make up , costumes and accessories and we happily involve them.
This was how development of the talents has transferred from a small group to other
schools and to the village. I PROVIDE A PLATFORM FOR SUCCESS.
Few of our alumnae who realized their talent while at school and are following
their passion along with their higher education.
Carlton is now a cine playback singer, Karyl an Art Director, Jebaraj is an Instrumentalist
in Live shows in Sun TV, Santhosh is directing short films, Sharun, who actively
participated in all these curricular activities and competitions was the President- Cultural
of his College and is involved with environmental activities. Neil Cornelius started a Music
Band – Oddsox, being the front man, he won the national prize for the best band recently.

CONCLUSION:
All educators should shift from Mark oriented Approach to Life Oriented approach. But
the current trend of the system of education which so called rank producing schools
follow has to be revamped from the base. Toppers, Achievers, Cream of students are
sure to be scattered everywhere and that is the strength of the every school. Procuring
all the talented and projecting all toppers by many schools need to be heavily
condemned. This is the major reason for trauma or stress in the so called toppers due
to fear of failure. Happily involving,- enjoying the studies has become a rare feature. I
fervently hope many organizations will realize the need for a differential approach in
providing education since EDUCATION IS NOT FOR EXAMINATION, IT IS FOR LIFE
Education is what remains once, one has left school. The whole person approach model
is beneficial for the child’s holistic development. Similarly the Child, The Teacher, The
Parent and the Society connectivity is an appropriate methodology to be emulated in
this era, in order to make the youngsters concerned about self in respect to the society
in the process of making a powerful nation.
This DIFFERENTIAL approach to education will minimize the impact of the threats and
make sure that every child of the nation is empowered to become productive because
of the education imparted to their differential needs as a student. Basic Education will
be a reality for all. School dropouts till 15 years of formal education will be controlled.
Today’s generation needs to grow as positive kids in a varied environment. With the
Media and Internet’s powerful influence, it is only right to teach the children to
differentiate between right or wrong/ good or bad/ correct or incorrect/ safe or
unsafe/ kind or unkind/ tolerant or intolerant/ cope or crumble/ react or respond, to
develop as human beings capable of deciding and living as per standards set by them
and owning responsibility and accountability for their thoughts and deeds. I wish
school across India will develop individual capacity and ability needed to invent and
innovate leading to the progress of the person and culminating in the growth of
the Universe.
