WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?

After months of anticipation, following discussions of patents and delays of

release, the Apple Watch is set to hit the shelves in March according to sources.

Apple had previously stated they wanted to release their smartwatch in 2015 but

this is the most recent update concerning the wearable’s release date.

APPLE WATCH HYPE

Apple unveiled its first step into the wearable technology back in September

2014 and subsequently left the heavily saturated market wanting more.

The Apple Watch was shown off during the iPhone 6 event where Tim Cook,

Apple CEO, promised the smartwatch would be ‘worth the wait’.

9to5Mac have reported that key figures from Apple Stores will be attending

training sessions at Apple HQ in early February, suggesting they are learning the

smartwatch inside-out. The attendees of the training days will then prepare store

staff for the March release.

Apple are fuelling the anticipation of their wearable device but providing an

online emulator for anyone to play with. The demo is modelled on images

released by Apple.

you click on apps, most are static images but you are able to jump and scroll

around the Apple Watch.

Around 24 million smartwatches are expected to be shipped by Apple during

2015.The Apple Watch will have a confirmed starting price of $349 (£230) when

it goes on sale.
