If you’re having trouble viewing content from your iOS device using AirPlay OnAppleTV,gotoSettings>AirPlayandmakesureAirPlayisenabled.

 MakesureyouriOSdeviceandAppleTVareonthesameWi-Finetwork.

 MakesureyouriOSdeviceisrunningiOS4.3orlater.

 Ifyou’retryingtouseAirPlayMirroringtoshowthescreenofyouriOSdeviceonAppleTV,checkthatyourdevicesupportsthatfeature.

If Apple TV isn’t playing your photo albums or slideshows Makesureyouhavephotosinyourphotolibraryorinafolderonyourcomputer.

 ChecktheIPaddressAppleTVisusing.Ifitstartswith169.x.x.x,therouterorbasestationmaynotbeconfiguredproperly.ChecktoseeifDHCPaccessisavailable,orconfigureAppleTVwithamanualIPaddress.

 AppleTVcannotconnecttoawirelessnetworkthatcontainshigh(extended)ASCIIordouble-byte(Unicode)characters(suchasJapanese,Korean,orChinese)inthenameorpassword.

If your TV screen appears fuzzy or black MakesureyourHDTVsupports720por1080pvideo.

 Makesureyou’reusingthecorrectHDMIcableandthatit’sfirmlyconnectedtoAppleTVandtoyourTV.

 IfyoupairedanAppleRemotewithAppleTV,makesureyou’reusingthepairedremote.See“PairingAppleTVwitharemote”onpage21.

 ResetAppleTVbydoingoneofthefollowing:

Resetting all the settings on your Apple TVYoucanresetallofthesettingsonyourAppleTVtofactoryvalues.

Important:  Thisrequiresyoutoreenterallofyournetworkandaccountinformation.
