A. THE CHECKLIST

Use the "Checklist for Preservation, Protection, andDocumentation of Museum Property" to inspect and evaluatestorage and exhibit spaces and administrative offices thathouse museum property. It is designed as a management toolto help bureaus evaluate how successfully they arepreserving, protecting, and documenting the museum propertyin their custody. The Checklist contains three parts:

B. INSTRUCTIONS

For example, paintings may be on display in 6administrative offices. List only spaces where the specificdeficiency occurs.
