The MPO’s action also included a statement of support for the proposed interchange with US 601 in Monroe, and was consistent with the recommendation of its Technical Coordinating Committee (TCC) as well as with TCC comments made on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) dated June 15, 2009. Good morning! We are preparing the Final EIS for the project and trying make sure I’s are dotted and T’s are crossed. I just wanted to confirm with you that you discussed the need to survey portions of the project east of US 601 (R-2559/Monroe Bypass) with OSA and they agreed that new surveys were not necessary because they had previously been conducted and much of the right of way remains the same in that area.
