Project Initiation, Pilot and Scale UP : Govt. of Telangana, Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad (TVVP) and TASK intended to train the sanitation health workers, patient service personnels, security personnels, supervisors, nursing ofcers and staff nurses. First piloted in one district and then scaled up to 31 govt. hospitals across Telangana State.

Training Need Analysis : Hospital support staffs and nursing staff working in various departments of the government hospitals of Telangana State needed to up-grade their knowledge and practice in the areas of biomedical waste management, infection prevention and control, ward management, exposure to latest healthcare technology, patient safety and transport, emergency situation management and more.

Post the training, many of the TVVP hospitals received “National Quality Assurance Standard” & “LaQshya” certication and were the “Kayakalp” award winners.

Government of Telangana applied for “NABH” accreditations for all TVVP hospitals.
