Fun facts Film Apollo13 was made about
the mission in 1995 The film stars Tom Hanks, Kevin
Bacon, and Bill Paxton The film grossed over $355
million worldwide To prepare for their roles in the
film Tom Hanks, Bill Paxton, and Kevin Bacon all attended the U.S, space camp in Huntsville Alabama.
The film is reasonably faithful to the facts of the mission but adds some tension between the astronauts for dramatic effect.
