James H.S. Simon, AB, DDSDr. Simon is the Wayne G. and Margaret L. Bemis Professor of Endodontics and the Director of Graduate Endodontics at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He was Chief of the Endodontic Section at the VA Medical Center, Long Beach, California, where he served as Director of the Endodontic Residency Program between 1968 and 2000. Dr. Simon graduated from Temple University School of Dentistry and received his certificate in endodontics from Boston University School of Dental Medicine. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, Past Director and President of the American Board of Endodontics, and Fellow of both the American and International Colleges of Dentists. Dr. Simon has lectured extensively and has published many scientific articles and research abstracts as well as chapters in endodontic textbooks. He was awarded the Louis I. Grossman Award by the American Association of Endodontists in 2005.
Ilan Rotstein, DDSDr. Rotstein is an Associate Professor of Endodontics; the Chair of the Division of Surgical, Therapeutic and Bioengineering Sciences; and the Associate Dean for Continuing Oral Health Professional Education at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He is also the Chair of the Research Committee of the International Federation of Endodontic Associations and a past member of the Research and Scientific Affairs Committee of the American Association of Endodontists. He received his dental degree from the National University of Mexico and his endodontics training from Hebrew University‐Hadassah Faculty of Dental Medicine in Jerusalem. He was previously the Chair of the Department of Endodontics and the Director of Graduate Endodontics Faculty of Dental Medicine in Jerusalem. Dr. Rotstein has published over 100 scientific articles and research abstracts in the dental literature as well as chapters in endodontic textbooks, and he has lectured extensively both nationally and internationally.
Clifford J. Ruddle, DDS, FICD, FACD Dr. Ruddle is an Assistant Professor of Graduate Endodontics at Loma Linda University and University of California, Los Angeles; an Associate Clinical Professor at University of California, San Francisco; and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Endodontics at University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. He is the founder and director of Advanced Endodontics, an educational facility located in Santa Barbara, California, where he is also involved in the development of endodontic instruments. He received his dental degree from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and completed his postgraduate work in endodontics at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Ruddle is a Fellow of both the American andInternational Colleges of Dentists and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He is internationally known for providing superbendodontic education through his lectures, clinical articles, textbook chapters, and videos. Additionally, he maintains a private practice in Santa Barbara, California.

L. Stephen Buchanan, DDS, FICD, FACDDr. Buchanan is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Graduate Endodontics at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He is the founder and director of Dental Education Laboratories in Santa Barbara, California, where he provides many dentists with hands‐on courses in endodontics. He graduated from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and received his certificate in endodontics from Temple University School of Dentistry. He lectures extensively, has authored numerous textbook chapters and articles in dental publications, and has produced award‐winning videos. In addition, he has invented several endodontic instruments. Dr. Buchanan is a Fellow of both the American and International Colleges of Dentists and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. He maintains a private practice in Santa Barbara, California.
George Bogen, DDS Dr. Bogen received his undergraduate, dental, and endodontic training from the University of Southern California. He previously served as an Assistant Clinical Instructor of Endodontics and an Assistant Director of the Emergency Clinic at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, where he received numerous Distinguished Teaching awards. Dr. Bogen has published several articles in endodontic journals and has lectured extensively both nationally and internationally. Currently, he is a Clinical Endodontic Provider at Memorial Millers Children’s Hospital and maintains a private endodontic practice in Los Angeles, California.
W. Paul Radman, DDS Dr. Radman retired from a long career in endodontic practice and dental education in 1998 and then founded Radman and Associates, a firm that specializes in the sale and appraisal of endodontic practices. He was previously a faculty member at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas, and Baylor Dental College in Dallas. He received his dental training at St. Louis University and completed an internship at Jefferson Davis Hospital in Houston. He has served on the Board of Directors of the American Association of Endodontists and has been the president of several dental societies. He has given numerous international lectures and has published several clinical articles. Dr. Radman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics and a Fellow of both the American and International Colleges of Dentists. He was named Dentist of the Year in 1998 by the Dallas County Dental Society.
