Contract “Writing & Review” Field work consisted of Civil Construction; Industrial and Commercial Buildings, including Blast Proof Control Rooms, Administration Buildings, piping, setting of pressure vessels and remodel of existing structures to client specifications. Construction Coordinator / Project Manager, managed and directed construction contractors including: API / NDT / Mechanical Integrity inspectors, civil, structural, office building, piping, painting, HVAC and inspections for large and small construction / maintenance projects. Worked with contractors from initial design phase, bidding, awarding, starting projects, MOC, answered RFI’s and punch list closeouts. Worked closely with Environmental Group, Safety Group, Design Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Process Engineers and outside sub-contractors throughout entire project.

2005-2007 ENGLOBAL ENGINEERING

Project Manager - Managed industrial client (SHINTECH), managed all aspects of construction for new plant expansion including: new office complex and multi-story process plant. Negotiated contracts with sub-contractors, scheduling of project, material and equipment delivery, civil layout, structural, equipment setting, piping, environmental issues, punch lists, job close-out and MOC.

2003-2005 DRYMALLA CONSTRUCTION

Assistant Superintendent - Responsible for all field engineering and layout for large commercial construction projects. Managed over 100 employees and sub-contractors for fast paced construction contracts up to and above $18m. Worked closely with Project Architects / Engineers and Owners to verify plans, schedules and prints. Maintained daily construction logs of projects and answered RFI’s for sub-contractors. Completed punch lists and applied for environmental and city permits.

1998-2003 ALLIED FENCE / STANLEY CONSTRUCTION

Business Manager - Managed family owned industrial fence and civil construction company. Directed day-to-day activities including: directing multiple crews and sub-contractors in day to day fencing and civil construction / renovation projects. Estimated, negotiated and designed all aspects of the construction project. Worked closely with clients, owners, architects and engineers.

1994-1998 SYMONS CORPORATION

Account Manager - Managed accounts for contractors regarding structural concrete forms. Developed strategy for concrete pour sequences, investigated concrete form failures in the field, verified concrete forms were built according to engineer’s design, negotiated contracts and pricing for large and small concrete projects including: heavy industrial, commercial and highway bridge settings.
