APD-Course Navigation:
• Direct Care Core Competencies
• Zero Tolerance
• Medication Error Prevention
These instructions provide you with the steps to access the training plans and navigate through APD’s Zero Tolerance, Direct Care Core Competencies (DCCC), and Medication Error Prevention and Medication Administration on TRAIN Florida.
For demonstration purposes, the Zero Tolerance course is being displayed; however, the steps for navigating the all APD training plans and courses are the same.
Search for APD Training Plans by clicking the Training Planslink.

The Training Plan page shows the course name, the Register button, Instructions, and links to the individual modules.
3Click the Show More link to view the course description and find links to navigation documents and learner guides for the course modules.

Click the Training Plan instruction links. Download the instructions and review the process for navigating the courses.

Click the link to Module 1. The module will open and will display a course description. Click the Resources tab for instructions.

After you finish the presentation, click the X to close it and then click the Mark Completed button.

Click Start Assessment.After you complete the assessment, click the Close button.
If you did not pass the assessment, click the Retake assessment button or click Close and return later.
You cannot move on to the next module until you pass the assessment.

12 Click the link for the next module and repeat steps 7 through 17 until you get to Module 4.

Completing the Evaluation and Getting the Course Certificate
The following steps guide you through the steps for completing the course Evaluation and for accessing and downloading your Certificate.
The Evaluation is available after you have successfully completed and passed the last module’s assessment. At this point, you should see a “completed” in the status column of each of the training plan’s modules.
You must complete the Evaluation before the Print Certificate button displays.

After you finish the assessment for the last module in the course, click the TakeEvaluation button.
Click Start Evaluation, enter your responses, and then click Closewhen you are done.

Click the Print Certificate button to download the certificate and save it to your computer.
