The CoBank Center is a Class A, build-to-suit office complex, located in Greenwood Village, Colorado. This 296,000-sf, 11-story office building, with a 6-level pre-cast parking structure to accommodate 950 cars, is targeting LEED Silver certification. A&P is working with long-time design partners, Davis Partnership, to ensure the building represents an optimal blend of innovative design and long-term operational performance. The tenant improvement portion of the project is being designed by RNL.

This 75,000-sf Health and Human Services office building was designed and is being constructed to achieve a LEED Platinum certification. The new facility is composed of structural steel, composite metal panels and masonry and will connect to an existing county services building. Construction activities were initiated with the environmental abatement and demolition of two single-story office buildings that had been converted from retail uses to county offices long before and were operationally inefficient.

Completed using tilt-up construction, the Suncor Energy USA Office Project involved building a complex, two-story, 76,000-sf Class A office building on a former landfill and swamp. Through close collaboration, A&P successfully overcame multiple challenges – extensive debris, high groundwater, collapsible soils and soft spots – to build this high-end project adjacent to a refinery with heightened security and safety parameters. Further complications included the need for a methane mitigation system and a separate odor mitigation system, the need to reroute two major streets, and a site with no existing City sanitary connections. Despite the complex challenges, A&P delivered the project on budget and within an accelerated schedule involving a 25% schedule reduction. Certified as LEED Silver, sustainable features include a raised floor, sink faucets designed to reduce water usage by 40%, 139 occupancy sensors and 33 daylight sensors that dim lights during bright days, among many others.

This two-story addition includes office space, a cleanroom and 58,000 sf of parking. Interior construction includes roughly 15,000-sf of humidity controlled electronic labs, data collection facilities and anechoic testing chambers and 50,000-sf of open office area. The remaining space has been left in “shell” condition with the infrastructure to be either future labs or offices.

The 275,300-sf, $86.4 million medical office building was designed and constructed as the client’s signature facility after more than 40 years in the Colorado market. A high-profile commission with state-of-the-art expectations, the client insisted on a literal zero-tolerance deviation from ICC Specifications in every regard. A&P worked collaboratively with the client and design team to establish rigorous project controls including an onsite leadership team; multi-faceted technology integration; daily trade inspections balanced against both QA/QC and schedule expectations; and partnership with the client, designers and specialized equipment vendors to ensure spatial and load capacity for ever-changing equipment.

The 3M Center in Maplewood contains the Leadership Development Institute (LDI) and a corporate level Customer Center (CC). This project was constructed to allow 3M the ability to showcase new products in their gallery space, provide educational opportunities in their lecture hall, and highlight their technology for current and prospective clients. It incorporated state-of-the-art technology into a flexible space to accommodate future innovations.

This is a new 11-story Class A office building. Sustainable building elements include high-efficiency mechanical systems, stormwater design and low-emitting materials. The Project’s exterior skin features polished precast, aluminum curtain wall and reflective glass to provide a distinctive, bold business image for the future tenants of the building. The lobby boasts polished stone flooring and wall cladding with stainless steel accents to invite and greet the people conducting business in the park. The project also contains an adjacent six-level, 1,100-stall parking ramp and two skyways connecting the new office tower to the Park’s other office buildings.

This 420,000-sf, 15-story office high-rise included a 348,000-sf parking ramp with parking for 1,100 cars. Features include a grand five-story landscaped atrium with skylights, fountains and waterfalls. As visitors and tenants enter the three-story atrium lobby of the Colonnade, they are welcomed by lush greenery, reflective pools and quiet sitting areas.

The Edward Jones 8620 Building houses a mission-critical center setup to operate 24-7 and handle the transfer of all operations from the company’s St. Louis headquarters location. The critical and technical nature of this facility required close collaboration between A&P, Arcturis and Edward Jones. A&P’s unique partnering process ensured the delivery of a successful project. The building employs redundant technology for data, electrical and mechanical systems.

The new 75,000-sf NBC studio and office building is located on an 8.1 acre site in the heart of the NBC Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The new building houses the Dallas and Fort Worth NBC news teams as well as the Telemundo news team, uniting them all under one roof. The new NBC Headquarters and Studio is a technologically advanced broadcasting and multimedia news facility serving the entire DFW metroplex.

The Minnesota BioBusiness Development Center is a community project to help drive the development of the bioscience industry by providing affordable office and lab space for small firms near the Rochester bioscience assets. The facility provides more than 150,000-sf of office and lab space. The project included reclamation of a brownfield site, with remediation of contamination from a former dry cleaning business. Green features of the LEED Silver facility include passive solar design through window selection and placement, a green roof on the adjacent parking ramp, use of local construction materials and an innovative recovery wheel system to condition the incoming air.

This project for the State of Minnesota included seven stories with a partial basement and penthouse. The 325,000-sf structure was completed in 16 months. The exterior envelope includes precast panels and glazing systems, 18,000-sf of terrazzo cover the semi public floor at the entrance level. A majority of the floor in the working office space is raised access flooring designed to simplify the ease of wiring changes in the future. Two 90-ft atriums divide the building into three sections to promote the use of natural light in everyday activities
