PREFACE
The Directorate of Economics andStatistics, Andhra Pradesh regularly publishesan annual publication “Andhra PradeshEconomy in Brief” since 2003 fulfilling theneeds of users and covering various aspects ofthe State Economy in latest.
In time series, the present publication“Andhra Pradesh Economy In Brief, 2015” isthe first publication after reorganisation of theState and produces the data for 13 districts ofAndhra Pradesh on selected indicators coveringvarious sectors of Economy for a quick overview of the level of development in the State.Inter state data for 16 major states on selectedindicators is presented in this publication.
I hope that the available information inthis publication will enhance the knowledge ofReaders in assessing the present Socio-Economic Scenario of Andhra Pradesh State.
