ASKS: Number of people you ask to do complimentary sessions

CALLS: Number of people who show up for a complimentary call

CLIENTS: Number of people who convert to paying clients

Set a goal for the number of clients you would like to have. Then track these numbers so you become crystal-clear about your % conversion rate — which is how many ASKS and CALLS are required in order to have a new paying customer.

Each month, review these numbers. What are they telling you? Until you know your statistics, you can plug in a generic number to calculate the number of free sessions required to meet your client goals.

• Let’s assume that it will require 3 requests (“ASKS”) to get 1 person to do a comp session.

• Let’s assume that it will require 5 comp calls to convert 1 person to a private client.

If you would like to have 3 new clients this month, then you will aim for:

3 CLIENTS = 3 clients x 5 comp calls per client = 15 comp calls

15 COMP CALLS = 15 comp calls x 3 “ASKS” per call = 45 "ASKS"

Once you have your “ASKS” goal set, create a visual chart that you can check off as you go about the month requesting comp sessions with people.

o Futz with your website + branding until you have tested your niche (possibly 1-3+ niches), have had several clients, and are clear about the direction your business is taking.

o Believe you have to have all your ducks in a row to start. You can get going TODAY. Unstoppables “build the plane while they fly it” — this will be your new motto, too. You are good enough to get going, N-O-W!!!!!

o Think you need to know EVERYTHING. You only need to know a tiny bit more than your clients, in 1 tiny area.

o Do busy-work and fuss with unimportant details to avoid getting yourself out there, testing your material, doing free sessions + meeting new people.

o Think that something terrible will happen to you if you take risks and put yourself out there. Even if you do something extremely silly, people are far too self-absorbed to think about your goof for more than 5 minutes MAX.
